Most Enjoyable League Pass Team Predictions:
Utah: Mitchell takes a leap, Conley still is a crafty two way stud, Bogdanovic and Ingles doing sneaky bald white guy things, Gobert blocks your shot like a mean dad, I think this will be a very well balanced, well coached team that gives trouble to squads with more star power.
Dallas Mavericks: Porzingas bombing threes and blocking shots, Doncic running the team from the wing, guys like Curry and Kleber will provide spacing. This is a team that is obviously a year or two from contending. But Carlisle is an elite coach and it will be fun to watch these guys grow on the job.
Denver Nuggets: Jokic jumped from league pass darling to star last playoffs, it will be interesting to see how the roster responds from the off season, with the west so up for grabs. Teams like Utah and Denver with such great depth are going to be difficult for star heavy teams like the Lakers to match up with. Still lots of firepower here in Denver across the board.
Milwaukee Bucks: Hurts that we have lost shooting in Brogs and Mirotic. Teams are figuring out how to guard the corner threes, and Nikola and Brook up top five feet behind the three point line really screwed up opposing defensive positioning. If Bledsoe can improve his three point shooting, even just stationary open shots... we can still hit another level of offensive efficiency. DDV and the Arkansas kid could both earn rotation minutes. Obviously this team starts and stops with Giannis. Who could also still be adding things. Here is a fun day dream... if Giannis spends all summer on his three ball, and makes it through the upcoming season completely healthy, its not insane to say he could put up the greatest offensive statistical season in league history.
Portland Trail Blazers: Lillard and McCollum as the league's best scoring guard combo, Whiteside and Nurkic beasting inside, Stotts putting it all together (Epi just got aroused), Bazemore and Hezonja bombing open threes, Zach Collins has sneaky upside as a big that can shoot and guard the perimeter...
New Orleans Pelicans: Zion driving to the hoop like a professional wrestler, Holiday and Lonzo Ball locking down opposing backcourts, Ingram back healthy, Redick roaming free, this team has a lot of interesting pieces. I will subtract points for all the Duke guys though.
Honorable Mention: Kings and Grizzlies

League Pass Teams means the ones that are not on TNT and ESPN four times a month (Sixers, Lakers, Warriors, Celtics, etc). Im not suggesting the Grizzlies will be a winning team. I’m suggesting that they will have some fun moments for die hard basketball junkies to watch.
Just trying to get a discussion on under the radar or under hyped teams that others might be interested in watching.

Not sure how much they'll be on nat'l tv this year but I'm looking forward to watching BKN. Kyrie, LeVert, Dinwiddie, Harris, Prince, Allen. I also think DJ is washed but who knows what running PnR's w/ Kyrie might do to rejuvenate him.

Re: ATL: Free Agency
So Bradley Beal. That Wizards roster looks terrible and they're talking to the Heat about trades. Is a package built around DDV/Pacers picks/whatever else (Sterling/DJ/Bucks picks/expiring contracts) a compelling offer?

No. Heat can't make a compelling offer either.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

I think Atlanta will have an interesting team. Especially if Schlenk drops the charade and performs the full Mellon Collie album in his season opening press conference. But can he fake it for just one more show?

You guys need to chill on Beal. He's not going to get moved until he asks out and he won't ask out for now.

Just hoping the Bucks are aggressive when it happens.

Ersan, Leuer, Brown, DVD and Wilson for Beal works in trade checker. Can we give them 3 first rounders in alternating years in what could be the post Giannis era?

I came across an incredible story written by a music journalist who was describing some pick hp games he played in with the Beastie Boys behind the scenes of some late 90s music festivals. He claims Billy Coragan is like 6’4 and would dunk on everyone, while in baggy goth jeans and boots.
Kind of cool that he can dunk. I would have thought he was just pale, sullen, and smoking imported cigs out at the three point line.

I wonder if that's Mike D or MCA in the backwards hat and flip flops? What a great photo.

Re: ATL: Free Agency
The other great part of the article I referenced was that the Beastie Boys thought they were good enough ballers to score on Anthony Mason after a photo shoot. And it did not go well for them.

Billy Corgan and Win Butler, 2 guys from bands I listen(ed) to proving that indie dorks actually can kinda play basketball (or are just tall).
