Let me help you here.

It is important to know when someone don't know something. If that person understands that, that person avoids MAKING DECLARATIONS and avoids FORMING HOT TAKES THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO MOVE FROM BASED ON HYPOTHESES and avoids CHARACTERIZING PEOPLE when that person clearly has NO IDEA.

As I said earlier: It is fine for Bucks fans to worry about Giannis extending or not. It is absolutely fine for Bucks fans to discuss trade scenarios in case Giannis does not sign.
What is not OK is part of what was going on, with people questioning his character/loyalty, as if he owed you something.

You all know very well what I am talking about. If people take a moment to think about this reasonably (as they should have been doing all this time) I am sure we can all agree.

the fact is he dangled his loyalty. not cool. thats not loyal.....and while its being dangled, and in retrospect looking back at it being dangled......its perfectly acceptable to discuss wtf is going on with giannis all of a sudden

god forbid somebody talks about giannis like hes not jesus.

for the record.... i have always loved him as a human being. i think hes an amazing human being as far as ballplayers go. but thats what made this even weirder

It's really a shame we can't be there at the home opener to blow the lid off the Forum when he gets announced. The loudest I've ever heard an arena was when Favre came out for half time at a Wave game after winning another MVP in the 90s. I think we may be louder for Giannis than we were for Favre. What a fu*king legend.

You still fail to understand that he would have been loyal even if he did not extend. He never requested a trade. He was clear that he would not request a trade even in his last contract year.

The only problem here were your expectations and you are trying to mask them as another person's problem.

I have left organizations for better situations, and would have not held it against Giannis personally if he left. But it definitely adds to his legend and my fandom that he is staying.

I love all you guys so much. What an amazing community to share the pain and agony with for over a decade for me personally and now some of the greatest joy we could have as fans other than when Giannis wins us the first championship of most of our lives. It's truly incredible that we had people telling us to relax and people telling us the flight was on the way to give us a great 48 hours as Bucks fans.

Also, now you guys can stop whining about trading away a couple of 30th picks.

How many seconds do we still have?

Drinking Russian votka with some cherry juice and a side of garlicky steamed spinach. (That's Christmas early). Wearing cream-colored bottoms and a blue shirt and my Giannis jersey mutha udda duckaaaaas!

Good. Now the Bucks can get value back if Giannis ever wants out.

This is a fine day! Happy for Bucks fans across the land.

If I posted here often enough to know how to do it, I'd post a celebratory Carlton dance!

Now...let's get it!

Extension starts 21-22. We have him for five years total if he declines PO, six years total if he accepts PO, under this contract.

Thanks for answering my question. So they must have torn up the last year of his contract (next year).
