Maybe even they don't know what's going to happen right now, lol.

Went from 8 to 6 for me

I saw +8 yesterday and swore I saw +4 this AM. Mine is at +6 right now.

hes averaged 21/7/5 on .442/.391/.866 shooting splits over 79 games of playoffs

when hes been the #1 those years his production increases and often with the same efficiency.

wtf are you talking about with the playoff numbers not supporting it? are you referring to the fact he singlehandedly takes over playoff games some of the time and just not every time or what?

‘Steps up’ would mean shooting better than his career averages of 46/38/88 or so. He’s absolutely had great series where he’s done this and others where he hasn’t, so it has mixed results to support it.

only stars and superstars maintain their efficiency in the playoffs on high volume statistically. the fact he does it on the volume he does it with the explosions he has on the stages hes been.... as a guy "not rated a star or superstar".... is what makes him underrated or a playoff stud or take your pick.

he has regularly taken over playoff games for a decade and often when our back was to the wall and/or giannis was out operating as a lone wolf for the offense. hes been amazing in the playoffs as it relates to stats and eye test and just sheer intangibles.

i cant even believe youre arguing this as a bucks fan. do you watch much?

46/38/88 is extremely good for a 20ppg scorer. How do you step up from that? Lol.

The reason people are always saying these things is that they're true, unlike the assertion that he's ever had a max contract.

This sounds backwards but they put Dame on the ground every drive they could reach him. When Pat C and Beas drive they are allowed to keep their feet. Giannis will get the Dame treatment.. just don't. Use your post spins and scoops -- little backboard shots where you can bring your arms up into them.

You get through the 82 game marathon nba season, and all the time you wait for the playoffs. Then the playoffs come with a bit of Dame and no Giannis.

The positive thing is that the team showed character and competed even missing the two superstars. I think Doc has done a good job not only with his schemes but with his motivation as well.

he needs to check out all the all nba guys over the last decade and compare their career regular season efficiency to their career playoff efficiency and it will give him a dose of reality

He was 43.8% from the field prior to this series in the Playoffs, so maybe maintain it?

It’s fair to keep in mind too that lately he’s often been at his best, most rested in the Playoffs because of recuperating during the regular season. Comparing this to iron man players whose efficiency numbers drop in the Playoffs isn’t always telling the full story.

Going back and forth to yourself drawing up plays for players that may or may not play while ignoring the conversation around you. Peak playoff performance.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm looking at all time leaders in the playoffs on NBA.com for players averaging over 20 points for their careers in the playoffs on 44/39 shooting splits and the list is: Anthony Edwards, Nikola Jokic, Steph Curry, Jamal Murray, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Reggie Miller and Khris Middleton.

Khris without Giannis means Giannis is out
