Khris is back .... that means we will shoot more 2s and even less 3s ... what happened to T.Prince? Why only 9 min and 0 points ?

We are not on Boston’s level. A successful Bobby trade doesn’t change that without other things changing.
We’ve been feasting on cupcakes to pad the record, but the leap we would need to make from here to Boston’s level cannot be done with one or 2 personnel changes (at least the changes that are realistic).
This team has 2 far bigger fish to fry than trading Bobby, sitting Brook, playing Ajax more, etc., etc.
1) Khris has to prove he can go 25-30mpg every night and fit in without getting injured again. I’m still skeptical on that front (i.e. he looked like Embiid out there last night. Impact player but one fall away from heading to the locker room)
2) Last night’s game came down to Giannis and Dame. Could just one of them make some superstar plays in the final couple minutes against a great team? We go nowhere if they can’t.

I'll add this as well: 3 games against Boston and their turnover totals were 12, 12, and 6. We are not even remotely troubling their offense. We aren't forcing turnovers, they're shooting open 3's all day, and we don't/can't crash the offensive glass to compensate. The math ain't mathing.

Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
This is not a Brook matchup, idk if we can afford to not play him against this team but I hope we have the personnel to do anything other than hope they miss enough 3’s over a 7 game series.
Game was fun though and had some very encouraging signs as far as a Boston matchup but it’s some stuff that makes you wonder if we’re just a tiny bit under them overall and probably need some injury luck both ways for us to take them out.
But **** after the past couple playoffs and the start to this season I would be sorta satisfied with a competitive second round series with the Celtics.

Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
The Giannis pull up was such a brain dead Giannis play as the first look bringing the ball up the court when literally our entire team was barely past halfcourt, a 20% shot with no chance of the team making a play for the rebound, which led to fastbreak three on the other end.
The Khris drive against Horford without getting the ball to Lopez in the corner was absurd. Even if Tatum made it out for a contest that is such a better look than what he got.
The Dame pull up with White trailing was a diva moment if there ever was one.
Honestly the hubris of all three guys there to be "the guy" to try and get us the win rather than trust each other to find the right was sickening to watch one after the other.
Also Brook running around and Giannis and Khris scrambling to cover despite Boston not making most of the looks they got down the stretch was insane. If we can't even play small with Al Horford at center we might as well throw in the towel.

That's one sweaty doughnut.
What you dunkin your stan donut in, stans? Dunk on, for the middy, for the hesi, on a rope, that's butter.
One game. This is like a little reset, on in game chemistry. A close loss vs. the top in the East, with that in mind. Like Doc, Giannis & Dame regarded the slow start. It's nothin'.

He was ill. Questionable before the game, he tried to go, but it got worse.

Was watching for your narrative tonight. And this one you are correct on. He played some good D. But he gets tired.
Yup. 2-8 in the 4th quarter, 0-4 from 3. His D was not good either. Blew help defender assignments consistently

He still doesn't get it. I quess that winning isn't that important to him. His ego is just as big as any superstar in the game. I thought he was differnt but not really.

Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
Give most of Bobby's shots to a fully ramped up Khris and this game ends differently.
Brook shouldn't be in if we aren't feeding him on lobs. Whats the benefit otherwise? Hes not quick enough to defend that team.

He'll become a good 3 point shooter and it'll become a moot point. He became one of the games top midrange shooters in just 4 months with a new skills trainer. He'll be a 3 point shooter soon.
People will say I'm wrong, but betting against Giannis is a losing proposition.

He wouldnt become this good without that ego and confidence. It is part of package really.
But what superstar is without ego? Jokic and who else? Prime LeBron maybe?

Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
There's a difference between ego and the arrogance of hubris. Like Dame doing his foul baiting chuck up a terrible shot and expect a call is ego. Giannis going 1 on 5 is some ego ****. Hell, sometimes the ego works out for them, they're pretty damn good. Dame and Giannis sharing the your turn my turn chucking up threes with absolutely no regard to the team other than them getting the big play spotlight is some entitlement dweeb ****. You don't "earn" that bad shot in that situation with ego.

No way. Lol. One of he greatest finishers in the game and he settles for a 3. He is just stupid. No chance of drawing a foul. I don't care who is watching him. Khris is back so he will be better at it? Most of his 3s are not contested already. Your logic is whacked.ShootingtheJ wrote:msiris wrote:He still doesn't get it. They played a really good game until the last 5 minutes. The Celtics then rrally ramped up the D when it really mattered.Baddy Chuck wrote:There's a difference between ego and the arrogance of hubris. Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
Honestly don't really think they ramped up the defense much, we just went full superstar mode and **** the bed. Resorting to hero ball doesn't win the game most of the time and we went full on. Hopefully this one is a wakeup for everyone because that was gross.

Giannis's ego and BBIQ don't crack this team's top 10 issues but go off I guess.

Next time they play Boston on espn I’m gonna get a stopwatch and measure how much time is spent praising Boston and/or sh*tting on Milwaukee.
It’s pretty much all of it.
