Yes. So many possessions where Dame/Giannis are clearly exhausted, we spend 15 seconds dribbling in place, have a near turnover after a panic pass and throw up a terrible shot (with no one in place for an offensive rebound) Just absolutely wasting possessions. We’re not going to get away with that garbage against Boston.
What’s frustrating is that when we’re purposeful about getting into our actions quickly we normally get good shots. But if the defense only has to defend for 8 seconds instead of 20, and you do that 5-10 times a game more than what is necessary, you’re going to drown in bad math over time.
OKC has a better defense than Boston by quite a large margin
Not against us. Boston has Horford. That’s the difference. Giannis cannot bully him, which means he goes from unstoppable force to merely very good.
But I would say OKC is best equipped to slow down Boston’s offense. They just won’t be able to score enough to keep up.
I am reading this thread thinking this is really cool tonight and Giannis is a on a mission, and who knows, maybe the Bucks can get back the Finals.
Then you have to blow my Bucks high and kill my hopes and dreams by reminding me that Al Horford still plays for the Celtics.
****.
