Thanks Khris, will always remember you going Kobe in our title run and for being a Celtic killer.

His jersey will be up in the rafters!

WELCOME KYLE KUZMA!

Maybe Khris will fail the physical.

Think appreciating Khris and wishing eternal damnation on Horst should be two diff threads

In theory yes but the appreciation thread would just end up duplicating this one.

I think Washington flips Khris. We'll see.

I assume we had to add AJJ because Washington knew we desperately needed to get under the 2nd apron for something else. The something else will be the final data point I use in my opinion of Jon Horst. The guy is a clown. We'll find out if he's a complete clown.

Jon Horst is giving off strong “final days of a Ponzi scheme” vibes

Khris stepping up when Giannis went down against Atlanta is an all time Bucks highlight. We don't win the title without Khris Middleton.

Today I learned you could swap a pick you've already swapped.

Also, watch AJ end up like Khris when he was a throw in early in his career.

Then you use MarJon. Not the 19 year old rookie who just flashed significant upside.

Im going to assume we dont do this unless we know we have something lined up that requires aggregation.

Only after that happens or doesn't happen can this be judged.

Btw guys, AJ Johnson was a massive longshot. The value here was not bad all things considered

Most of my friends texts are like “Khris helped us get a title” and “after everything he’s done.”

Therein lies the problem with him. People are still so emotionally attached to what he was and not realistic about what he is.

I agree and I think the emotional takes are completely ignoring the reality that he's literally, physically toast. Not like he's lost a step, more like it's a really good bet that he's going to start breaking down more and more and not be available.

It's very likely his knee issues contribute to his ankle issues - not necessarily in acute cause of injury but in ability to recover. Instability in one joint can effect the others and we're seeing that snowball effect of degradation of his body.

I'd bet money they have zero faith in him even being available in the playoffs and even less faith in him beyond this year. It's sad because of nostalgia and even sadder when you factor in how perfect Khris of old would be for this team but that guy simply does not exist anymore.

I get wanting to turn KM into something younger and reliable that can play 30 mins consistently. But I don't get how we should have had to give up extra assets in this deal. Really surprising there wasn't a better option out there than this one

The secondary pick swap is whatever. It's a fake "asset", so who cares. But we just paid a premium for Kyle Kuzma in the midst of the worst season of his career. There's zero positive spin for this.

I'll miss Middleton. We were lucky to get him as a throw-in when we traded Brandon for Brandon, and he was instrumental in the Championship run. He was a mentor/big brother to Giannis, and without the recent nagging injuries he would still be playing at an All-Star level.

Most Bucks fans who have been around for a while would say that our best player to wear #22 was Michael Redd, or they might say the best shooter to wear that number for the Bucks was Ricky Pierce. But when they hang #22 from the rafters, it should have Middleton above it.

Going to assume they tried that.
