Damn that rilamann!!!

Man punching air quietly to himself after every good thing Dame does comes back when he's not even on the court to tell everyone how mad they are.

He also shot the three pretty well each of his last two seasons in Houston. Im definitely not going to just assume he cant shoot anymore.

I kind of wonder if we moved AJ Johnson in part because we knew we were getting kpj.
That part of the trade I still don't understand. Maybe the Wizards really wanted him.

The Wiz have been pretty bad at talent evaluation, so if they REALLY wanted him, I’m even less concerned about it.

He does have a high ceiling but to get there everything has to go right and playing for the Wiz already means it hasn’t. Although he is going to get force feed minutes in the league instead of the G league so that should actually help him. It was always going to be tough for the Bucks to throw him out there and let him take his lumps. Chances are he never has as productive a season as KPJ’s best season thus far.

Literally no one in the world cares about Damian Lillard as much as you do. It's really weird.

I see a lot of talk in here about Kuzma's bad shot selection but I really disagree. Has he taken bad shots? Yes. Did a majority of those shots happen because he was thrown the ball with 5 on the shot clock? Also yes.

I think the thing thats stuck out to me most is that he is actually a good/smart basketball player and I think that will grow even further with time. He rebounds, he passes, makes the correct reads most of the time, solid defender, and a lot bigger than I thought.

He's been in the league long enough and I think he's matured since the early days with the Lakers and the chucking that, honestly had to happen with the Wizards.

I won't lie - I wasn't thrilled to watch him play basketball when the trade was announced but if this is what we got in the replacement of Khris, we can definitely work with it and I have much more hope than I did initially. Excited to see what the full squad can do post ASG break.

Prince showed me some things today... that charge he took... if he is able to get 1 or 2 of those per game it changes how teams can attack us --- considering Giannis, Brook and now Kuz are down there

Good points.. yeah he was getting it late in the SC when noone else could get something going several times.. he also seemed to recognize his 3 was off and started being aggressive --- that piece right there shows growth or that he wants to buy in

Very meh game from a historically meh player.

Not gonna deny that he helped tonight though.

Not that I don’t agree with your overall take here, but a very meh game? That’s the part I’m not sure I agree with. Kuz is a frustrating player by all accounts, he takes bad shots and is out of control some of the time but his energy and pace is light years beyond what I was anticipating after the trade. That can be contagious moving forward with Giannis and the rest of the team will follow suit knowing if they can get to their spots, they can be effective. Closing out defensive possessions and transitional offense were 2 things really bogging us down so far this year, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how much Kuzma helps in both those key areas….

Yep, there was a MASSIVE play in the fourth where Kuz grabbed a long rebound, dribbled up the floor at Giannis-in-transition speed, and kicked to a wide open corner three for Trent.

He’s an imperfect player and does dumb things but those things are happening because he is playing fast and trying to use his athleticism. He gives you full effort every minute in the court and can do so for starters minutes. A team of dinosaurs needed that badly.

Wait til we get some 80mph Giannis/Kuz fast breaks... it's going to be a lot of boners in here

I think people find mindless repetitive comments that add nothing to the conversation to be annoying.

I value people's opinions, even though as fans we are frequently off base. Those opinions are interesting to me. But when someone makes themselves the essence of their post time and time again, it becomes a pain. Like litter on the sidewalk. Feeling compelled to remind everyone how "right" you are just underscores your inability to be convincing. "Oh, I didn't get it the first 23 times you said it, but the 24th time - I get your point!" Repeating yourself at every available opportunity does not add gravitas. It becomes not about the point you are trying to make, but rather the repetition that holds no value for anyone.

People aren't annoyed by your opinion. Or mine. Which is why most people don't react to any given opinion. People are annoyed by the repetition. Repetition does not convince or validate. It just annoys.

Great win. Kuz is definitely doing a great job of replacing Khris' role of dribbling the ball of your foot. But it's easy to see the potential fit when he's off-ball more with Giannis and Dame.

Speaking of Dame, I'd be pretty livid if I were him watching these continuation calls other stars get.

Yeah that one Ant got where even he was shocked it was continuation while Dame has been in the shooting act in the air and it’s not.

In the last week or so, a TV broadcast crew (not Bucks, can't recall who) commented that players are having to adjust to more fouls being called sideline out instead of sending the player to the FT line. They felt the league has put an emphasis on calling it tighter. Fewer FTs'

That's why Conley was so important to them turning things around and playing winning basketball. Now he's too old and they have no replacement.

Kuzma is a bad shot taker. That running hook shot in the last few minutes with plenty time on the clock is a good example.

Horst made a comment the other day on Kuzma, that as long as he takes good shots he'll be fine. They're aware of his history.

KPJ definitely has the highest upside of our young guards for this season. I'd still start GTJ for now though, I think he's earned it back. Bring KPJ in when Dame subs out, keep him out there if he's playing well.
