Stunning decision, assuming no personal conduct/ooff the court issues with Jenkins. I've been clamoring for us to recruit him back since we canned Bud. He has to be our primary HC recruit.

ETA: the timing of this does make me think there's some personal conduct stuff that triggered the firing. But it could be player driven, too.

On reddit a bunch of their fans are claiming it's because they've underperformed this year. Seems wild to me considering they're 3 games out of 2nd and Ja has missed half the season. Some also said there has been a lot of infighting with the team.

Taylor Jenkins would be a godsend next year.

A young, hungry coach coming off getting questionably fired would be such an upgrade.

Doc is just mediocre and probably thinking about his retirement plans more than drawing up a single decent ATO play all year.

Bump Doc up to POBO, give him a fancy office but hire a new, and hopefully good, GM. Jenkins is a Bud guy but that shouldn't matter, he's done a good job. But I also want to get the real story here. Something's going on.
