Unorthodox but finishes with contact pretty well. I am more impressed by his off ball movement, understanding of spacing, soft hands and decently quick/high release shooting.

Can any of our euro friends help me understand euro weight training as compared to NBA ? If this dude can add some weight and explosion, you might have a nice player. Getting him in a NBA weight room might really elevate his game but that’s why I ask about how much euro programs focus on that

For a lot of teams I think he'd be a prime stash candidate, but I think we'd want him on the roster for his low cap hit. It's pretty much the only reason we kept Livingston on the team last season.

I know the East should be wide open, but I'm surprised by the amount of angst over moves we make to compete this upcoming season. Broadly - not just this thread. I have eyes set on 2026-27, personally.

And I agree with your overall point, too. I don't think stashing players is a very beneficial practice.

In my mind, the benefit to stash him a year is to give him things to focus on before starting the clock on his contract. But I don’t disagree with the benefit of having him here. Summer league as always will be interesting to see what we have and how close to playable he may be.

Summer league should be fun. I don’t hold much weight in a late 2nd round pick. If it hits, wonderful. If it doesn’t, oh well.

He seems skilled, not afraid of contact, quick release. Put him on the roster and give him some minutes regular season to see where he’s at and how he develops.

Bogi being a guard as late as 15 and having the growth spurt at 16 makes total sense given the way he plays and especially his shooting form. He crouches and bends his whole body on the shots like a guard would vs a big just standing upright and using mostly arms and wrist.

I remember Jokic got on Giannis fot this at the all star game when Giannis was mic'd up. He said something like "you are a big, but you dont shoot like a big. Ill teach you to shoot like a big."

At their minute threshold, KPJ/Giannis had the best net rating, outside a bunch of OKC's duos. We're not half the NBA teams who are no hopers. We're in the half that are hopers, who are hoopers. We have to maximize our odds, whether that just gets us to 5%, or whatever.

Iirc, one of the big knocks on him is not finishing through contact so i think this is where highlight videos lie

Could be, I’m just basing it off the vid. No doubt he needs to get much stronger to carve out a career in the NBA

I started watching and it is really tough that there is also a Mirkovic (Montenegro) playing in the same team. He has smaller nose and a chin though.

He's already got the Giannis mean mug down. In just about everything I've watched with him in, there's a moment he talks some trash, or gives a stink face after a nice play and I like that fiery side of him. He certainly doesn't lack confidence from his interview at the draft lol.

- If we wanna take a wild swing at the next Serbian superstar, Bogoljub Markovic looks like he can do a bit of everything (shoot, pass, get to the line).

- Tyrese Proctor still feels like a guy who has good NBA potential. 6'5 guard with decent length and flamethrower shooting ability.

- There's a dude named "Dink" in this draft class, so there's that...

All part of the grand plan to eventually get Jokic here. You heard it from your boi first.

He last posted his tiers in 2018
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I like the fact that Horst finally went with someone with basketball skills after recently going with Marjon, AJJ, AJ Johnson and Kuzma. This kid can shoot and pass.

As for development, it depends on the weight training and expertise on his team in Europe. If there is a plan overseas, I'd keep him there rather than start the clock here.

When we plan the Giannis statue outside fiserv, we are going have to leave room for a Bogi statue, as well. Nice problem to have.
