Kyle Kuzma straight up :lift: memeing KAT in the post was great.

Lots of highlights there but Kuzma getting in KAT's head with the physical D was up there. Rollins/Green/KPJ/Giannis/Turner is what I want to see.

It's interesting..
Seems to be certain guys like this.

Shaq and Kobe figured it out
Steph and LeBron need another star generally
But Luka, Dame, Giannis seem like they need that focal point

Giannis was great with Middleton, he just can't be surrounded by a selfish moron like Dame.

Somehow we’ve haven’t discussed this. Cole Anthony in Orlando was a black hole. On this team he’s meaningfully adjusted his game.

Plenty of reasons to dislike Doc, but he and his staff are getting more out of players than other coaches had. Anthony and KPJ are examples.

Terrific execution down the stretch for the Bucks, despite being unable to hit the dagger 3.

Kyle Kuzma isn’t completely useless!

He had some great moments defensively, but that pull up 3 was obnoxious.

I’m just glad that every other time he touched the ball he either drive right to the rim or moved the ball quickly. That three was awful but baby steps. He was taking multiple of those EVERY game of his career until this year.

Sure, but he still had a couple of ridiculous turnovers too. I appreciate the 2nd half defense effort, but he's still a moron.

This is a really tough call imo. I’m KPJs number one fan and I’m conflicted. Rollins looks like he has made a huge leap this offseason

Did this team really miss Thanasis that much last year?

Still concerning that we shot 13 shots less than them and only 34 threes. Out field goals have been trending down since the first game. Idk if it’s a doc thing or maybe it’s a Giannis in the half court thing but we’re not getting enough shots up to sustain this success.

Missed the first half.

What happened where we had such a dramatic turnaround defensively?

Cole Anthony also seriously caught my eye in addition to Rollins looking like a rising star.

Maybe Giannis was right when he said: “We got a good point guard, Cole Anthony, who I think will be an X-Factor and be the surprise of the year.”

soxperry wrote:it's one thing to play like that against the Hornets. it's quite another to do what Rollins did against the Knicks.

he took a leap. offensively and defensively. he's doing a little bit of everything and he's playing with confidence.

the question to ask now is not "Rollins or KPJ?" It's "Between Green and Trent, who sits?" Because both Rollins and KPJ are much better than Trent and Green and they are compatible. KPJ is more of a natural point guard and Rollins is great off ball.

let's take it another step further... how does this look?

KPJ/Cole
Rollins/Green
Middleton/Trent
Giannis/Bobby
Turner

Such a fun finish. Absolutely putting the clamps down defensively those last 5 minutes. Props to Kuz for locking down KAT when it mattered.

Even though it was at least a season and a trade deadline too late, and so excruciatingly frustrating I might add, cuz the issue was so painfully obvious, and we've subsequently shortened Giannis' championship window by at least a year, finally letting Brook walk was THE most important decision of the offseason. Immediately raised our ceiling, on both sides of the floor. The ability to switch absolutely anything and everything defensively will give opponents fits. Sky's the limit with this group.

Bobby seems lost so far. Not in any type of form to start this season.

Love Bobby. Buck forever. But his skill set doesn't fit with the best version of this currently constructed roster. I think he'll have to be happy with an instant offense/energy guy reduced role if he wants to be part of a winner here in Milwaukee. If not, we should field offers. 15 minutes is about right. When KPJ comes back, maybe 10.

Mild concerning trend the last two:

Cavs got 8 more FG attempts (and 7 more FT attempts)
Knicks got 13 more FG attempts (and 1 less FT)

I guess rebounding disparity explains some (perhaps most) of this. Any other thoughts?
