I was reading something on “the ringer” a week ago saying Giannis did not deserve to be an all star starter this year. I don’t know who to believe any more.

On top of that, Antetokounmpo does all this work in fewer minutes than most of his fellow stars. He is sixth in shots attempted per game and fourth in scoring. Yet he’s 52nd in minutes played per game; still, he doesn’t ignore the grunt work when he’s playing. He’s third in the league in rebounds per game. Furthermore, because he rarely shoots triples, he doesn’t get to avoid contact outside the arc. All told, there’s no moment or area on the court where he can rest, or even avoid contact, on either end.

I think this gets overlooked. He's putting up crazy numbers and he can do it with less minutes.

Giannis is only about 4 more 50+/15+ games away from entering the MVP discussion.

Unless Embiid gets 40/10, then the MVP belongs to Embiid.

About damn time he moves to #2.

https://www.nba.com/news/kia-mvp-ladder-feb-10-2023-edition

This move was overdue considering Antetokounmpo averaged a staggering 37.5 points, 14.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists while connecting on 60.8% from the floor entering Thursday’s 115-106 win against the Los Angeles Lakers. Antetokounmpo hit 60.9% against the Lakers for 38 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, driving through the opponent like a freight train. Milwaukee came into the season as the most experienced team in the NBA by average age and seasons played. But these Bucks certainly haven’t showed any signs of slowing down during their current nine-game win streak led by the two-time MVP, who has poured in 338 points in just 288 minutes played during this run.

LMAO

Jokic loses 2 games the media doesn't bat an eye, GIannis has a wit chamberlain season and barely got 2nd while the Ringer demoted him to 2nd.

Embiid loses a game he goes to 4th, like wtf, the media doesn't even try to hide their bias, its embarrassing how all these "analytics" re creating a out of context narrative with some made up BS advance stats that nobody gave a **** for years.

Thats why clowns like Zack Lowe were saying how Giannis doesn't deserve all start starter

He said Giannis didn't deserve to start because he'd missed 1/3 of the games at the time of the voting. That's perfectly acceptable.

I guess the issue is that these guys/people who read them vote for MVP.

But if your overall point is that we should win the championship instead, then I agree.

He and his family learned about the hustle from a young age. Freak knows what's up.

On Instagram last week he was at a printing shop and made the stayfre34ky logo then wore it on his sweatshirt later. It was cool to see.

New merch coming soon.
