Final season of Jack Ryan has a very quick turnaround, premiering June 30. Only 6 episodes, 2 released per week.

I'm really curious how they are going to end Succession. I am enjoying the current season but I have no idea how they plan on ending it. I sincerely doubt they will go out with a bang like many people may want.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I feel like everyone in the Roy family has to lose in some way for it to work. I imagine all the skeletons are going to come out of the closet.

Yea I would assume they can't or won't finish this on some kind of good note where the kids successfully pull this off and look like good smart businesspeople. This episode started leading that direction like they're starting to get the upper hand but something has to crash/burn. Maybe after these two groups do enough damage to each other while blowing up the deal the other network (Pierce?) comes in a buys it all for cheap rather than them being bought. Everyone looks like idiots.

I guess this is a spoiler
Spoiler:
To me another "happy ending" is if one or more realize how pointless all of it is and does something for the greater good or sacrifice themselves for someone else. Kinda/sorta like Better Call Saul. I think, however, that the overall point the creators are trying to make is that greed/capitalism destroys so ultimately they will end up miserable.

Spoiler:
I'd put a pretty strong bet that Kendall making this power move is going to lead to the car accident/manslaughter coming into play. Just can't see a way something that big doesn't come back in, and now its trending towards him stabbing the others in the back so he's being set up to be the bad guy. If this was real life and I was him, I'd have avoided any spotlight at all after getting away with that. Just be Connor pre president run, take your money and live. But yea the lesson is money/power corrupts so an ego like his wouldn't care since he's used to getting away with everything.

I skipped The Mandalorian this season and it looks like that was a solid decision. Because this is pretty funny.

Mandalorian was fine this season, but it definitely felt like a different show as they finally decided to try to grow it beyond just "Mando and Grogu go to a new planet and save the day and move on to the next" each episode like the show originally was. And in doing so, they didn't totally stick it. Was a bit disappointing but still enjoyable; the Star Wars animated shows remain their best and most consistent work (outside of Andor).

Completely agree. We were in Portland and went to go see it opening night and it was so fun. I was super skeptical about seeing a movie about some execs at Nike but it was so much more than that. Entertaining and took me back to the 80s and how that shoe paved the way for so much of our current marketing and advertising of athletic apparel and shoes. They captured the spirit of the culture. The opening sequence set the tone and it kept up throughout.

Did we talk about how season 3 of Ted Lasso was very average?

Or how Shrinking with Jason Segel was fantastic?

I haven’t seen Air yet but want to, was underwhelmed with Tetris.

And hell yea Gemstones.

I'm halfway through and losing interest, as the focus has moved away from Lasso. Might as well rename it "AFC Richmond".

Yikes. I wasn't as high as some on the first season as it's one of those series always trying to lead you onto the next episode, but i"m losing interest. Like someone else said, most of the present day plot lines are uninteresting.

One half of the show has still been mostly fine.
