I was very high on Jevon but the more I watch film the more I'm down on his jumper. Konate for me is not a 5 and only valueable if you project him to ever develope a 3-point shot.

Why exactly are you down on his jumper?

Edit: Anyways, I don't see them as studs or anything, but I'm interested to see if Konate can play C despite being short/not having the length to make up for it. His shot blocking is just insanely impressive. And I could see Carter becoming something like a TJ McConnell or Delly level player in the NBA.

Well that explains it since his stock has risen since the combine. But still, I would've easily had him in the top 37 before that.

They are composite rankings across all of their writers and there are more than a few head scratchers in there. Davincicode and Okogie should both bounce right up into the lottery ranks

I really think Wendell Carter is going to be a bust. I just don’t see his defense translating to the league. The zone really helped him in college.

I'm really high on Wendell Carter, I have him ranked 5th in the entire draft.

Konate can be a 5 for spurts and bringing him in as a physical energy for 10-15 minutes is probably his best role. He is about an inch taller, with about another 1.5 inches of standing reach bigger than Draymon with 3.5 inches more standing vert and 2 inches more max vert all while being 10 pounds heavier.

I am not saying he is Green or will be anything like him, but just saying that while undersized, I think he can work at the 5 in spurts. I mean on offense he is going to be setting screens, scrapping and running to the rim. On defense, you obviously want him muscling out bigs and helping protect the rim, which he showed he could do at a really high level.

He has no problem defending the rim or rebounding, so idgaf how tall Konate is.

I can see it a bit, but looks like he's a much more skilled scorer and can actually shoot the ball decently.

Yeah it was a more refined version in my eyes, looks less selfish and drives with more purpose. Control and finishing looked more Brogdon like...with some extra on it.

Will you be disappointed if AARON HOLIDAY is the pick?

Definitely. Can't see any scenario where AARON HOLIDAY is the best player left on the board.
