I'd be happy to have either of those guys, particularly Jordan, but not under the kinds of circumstances we've heard about so far. Hard to say what my preferred target would be since so much depends on what we'd have to give up to get them. Suffice to say there are PLENTY of guys who could adequately fill this role for us. Plumlee is fine as a failsafe if we can't get somebody better. I'm still hoping the Knicks cave on O'Quinn or we can find a way to get Zeller without disturbing anything important.

I've got him as target 1b now. Would rather take Dedmon if he comes cheaper. Plus then you leave Henson as the starter. I fear you move Henson to the bench and he'd revert back.

I don't get our obsession with overpriced centers. Yes, I'd like an upgrade over Henson, yes I'd like someone who could rebound, but there are much cheaper ways to obtain that talent. There are plenty of good to great teams in the league that don't have a max contract type at center. We need to be looking for a backup center and more shooters.

RE: Whiteside, his numbers are eye popping, but I'm not sure there's a ton of substance there, certainly not to the level he's being paid. Some Heat fans have soured on him due to his overall attitude and effort level on the court. That to me, as a guy who doesn't watch Whiteside night in night out like they do, is a red flag. The value some would deal him for is lower than I would have thought. As far as Jordan, his next contract is going to be an absolute albatross at some point, and I want no part in that whatsoever.

Jakob Poeltl going one pick ahead of Thon is still one of the most frustrating things.

I don't even know if stats support this but just watching him it feels like he already has.

Gives us a backup Center that stretches the floor. Nobody is taking Telly, stop including him in trades.

I just watched Whiteside up close & personal a couple weeks ago in Milwaukee. He's giant & he's a game changer. I believe his impact as a Buck would negate his flaws.

I don't know why they aren't telling Whiteside to shoot more 3's. He's made his only 2 attempts this year and he's been a +40% shooter from 16 feet and out over the last 3 seasons. He intrigues me a lot more if he can prove that he's got real unicorn potential.

We haven't seen what Snell/Delly/Henson/Telly can do with a real coach.

Here's a crazy thought: what if our role players were actually good, but just weren't being used properly?

Legitimately good players find ways. They don't need coaches to make them look like impact players. Could a coach using them properly make them look better? Yeah, sure, that's what good coaches do. Does it make them "good," I have my reservations.

I think the Jabari trade concept is going to dominate these next 8 days.

On emotion, I'm all for Jabari coming back and being a Buck for life.

On logic, the odds of Jabari blowing another ACL are way, way too high to ever invest $100 million in him concurrently with our 4-year window with Giannis. If we're wrong, we're screwed.

On emotion and logic, if could package Jabari, Telly and Henson for DAJ and Lou Williams we might win the East this year.

It kills me that people are considering trading packages with Henson in order to get Rolo/KOQ. Lopez is an overpaid 5 rebound per game with no vertical center. KOQ´s been a 15 minutes per game undersized center all career with half of Henson´s paint protecting skills. No panic moves needed.

With Love going down 6-8 weeks I wonder how that would impact the Cavs valuation of Jabari. They have some tempting trinkets...

Henson's inadequate as a primary player. So, if he can't/won't adjust to being a role player, he is absolutely a dispensable piece to me. Good luck on finding a taker though.

Henson will always be that guy that drives 40mph in the left lane on the freeway....
