In all the behind the scenes stuff Jrue seems very happy. All the guys do actually. I think Giannis having fun on court is a great change for the culture of this team. I would have a hard time expecting something better if I were Jrue.

Personally, I'll be pretty upset if we pay him more than $30M/per for 4 years. He's getting older and he's not a max level player. We'd also be stuck with what we have as far as personnel goes. Hoping for something like a 3 year deal, $75-90M with a player option in the 3rd year. Gives us 3 years of title chasing with Jrue and pays him what he's worth, while giving him the chance to sign with somebody else to chase a ring if it doesn't work out.
I'm hoping for that too, but based on what Horst gave to Middleton, I don't think it's going to happen.
At the end of the day, it is better to have Jrue Holiday on your team even if it means signing him for 5 years than to let him go.

Could be. I don't think he's a fan of Bud, having done interviews where he talked about liking to switch more on defense. If the Bucks go with an early exit and he feels coaching was a reason, I could see that and money as decisive factors.
If coaching is a reason for an early exit, there is no way Bud will keep his job.

Yeah, Horst has been throwing so much money out to everyone since he took over. Every single one of our players we re-signed were overpaid, except for Giannis. I expect a 4/140 deal with a player option on the 4th year. We will realize after next season that we are **** paying Giannis, Jrue, and Middleton $120/year with no cap space or draft picks to do anything. Then we will trade Middleton but botch the trade. Then Giannis will be pissed and demand a trade. Then the owners will sell us to Seattle or we will re-live the Kohl era for 20 years until we luck out once again.

Scrambled eggs 7 times a day? And all this time I thought nobody would guard him because they didn't respect his shot or general offensive ability.

Bryn Forbes is averaging just 1.1 assists per 36. Have the Bucks ever had a worse passing/playmaking guard? He's an absolute ball stopper.

An absolute ball stopper who doesn't turn it over and puts it into the hoop at extreme efficiency in the flow of the offense.

Nah, he kills the flow of the offense, hence why we have a better offensive rating when he's on the bench.

I have only been able to see a few games, so I want to qualify that first, but with Forbes it seems like;
a.) he should only be in line ups with Giannis (or garbage time)
b.) if he isn't playing with Giannis, playing him with a group of smaller guys like DDV and Teague at the same time seems like an awful idea
c.) if he isn't 'on' early, I'd give that time to Merril and see what happens.
For what we pay him, and his ability to get hot, I think he is perfectly fine player to have on the roster. Just seems like you need somewhat optimal conditions to make it work and it seems like Bud likes to try him out in a lot of line ups that just seem destined to fail.

If you are going to play Forbes, he should be shooting almost every time he gets the ball. Because if you have him on the court to do anything else, then it doesn't make sense to have him on the court. He basically needs to outscore what he is giving up on the other end to justify playing him. And again, that is fine to have a guy like that on your roster, just need to have a short leash if it is an off day.

I'd rather watch the rookies make rookie mistakes on defense then watch McLemore just play bad defense. The rooks are just a good of shooters.
We should hold the last roster spot in case a good player gets bought out. What if OPJ just bought out in 2 weeks. If we already picked up McLemore, we'd be stuck with him and his salary.

70% of his offense comes 0-2 seconds after catching the ball where he's literally the third most efficient player on the team besides Giannis and Bobby. Him "stopping the ball" is quantifiably one of the best shots we have on this entire squad.

Problem is, he isn't always able to get his shot off because he's too short. Then the ball stops. Forbes isn't our 3rd most efficient player or scorer, just shooter. The offense is worse when he's on the floor.
