Giannis brings it up at a bit of pace but everyone is back, Ayton meets him at the nail offering the standard 10 foot gap. Giannis gets to foul like extended and puts it in his left and feigns that he's backing in to the baseline. Once Ayton leans away from the middle, Giannis pushes hard inward with two dribbles, puts up a pump fake at the restricted area and finishes a 4 foot drop in uncontested. There's no one amazing move in this sequence but a giant man who you must stop from getting to the bucket at all costs just got a lay in on his left side without doing anything fast and starting from a defensive rebound on his own.
This is why we are best and he is the best.
I think the most surreal thing about Game 6 was the confidence with which he took and made a bunch of shots he just hasn't taken in games. The one you're talking about I don't really view as uncontested, Ayton was there, Giannis just shot it over him. He looked natural taking some tough shots from around the elbows (the fader from the left over Crowder, the one-handed push shot from the right) that I've *never* seen him attempt, much less look like it was his 1,000th time making that shot. Just weird.
My personal favorite, though, was the Jrue-Middleton pick and roll with Giannis on the weakside block. Jrue comes off the screen and hits Pat in the weakside corner, Pat throws it back up top to Middleton, Giannis bodies Bridges to give Middleton a window, who throws a perfect pass, and Giannis catches, spins, dunks on the entire color orange.
