Had a PS5 and sold it last year. So I have some digital games. But wouldn’t mind Xbox game pass ultimate on both my PC and a console. Someone convince me.

Both my PS5 controllers get about an hour on a full charge. Total sh*tbox.

I don't know if you're exaggerating but that's nuts if you're serious lol. I probably only have to charge my controller like once a week if I'm playing heavily. I reckon it lasts around 8-10 hours.

I barely use my PS5 because I prefer the Xbox, but I do keep the two PS5 controllers on the charger. Last weekend I fired up Borderlands and between two controllers I got about two hours. That was extreme but it didn't surprise me. It's been a long time since I could use a full juice controller for a longer session.

I got a launch PS5 and my original DS is still a champ that holds its charge well. It goes down to 2 bars quickly and then just stays there for hours.

Meanwhile, I've gone through two Elite 2 controller for my PC and the first wouldn't stay connected AND would stick drift, and the second still stick drifts. Just a **** experience for an expensive controller.

It's all so YMMV.

Also chiming in on the PS5 controller thing - I play every night, got my PS5 when it released, and they last 5-8 hours no question.

Sounds like you got a bad stick, DB.

I don't know how many times I've played through Borderlands 2, but it's crazy how well it holds up, especially in an era saturated with looter-shooters.

Downloaded Madden 24 on Gamepass to see what it was like. I pray to god the new College Football 25 is nothing like it. Over animated gameplay, awful UI/UX in game and in the menus, and personally over complicated and tedious franchise mode features. The entire game is absolute garbage.

Supposedly it’s rebuilt from the engine up.

It's using the same engine as Madden so I suspect there will be a lot of overlap gameplay wise. Madden's gameplay isn't fantastic by any means, but it's fine enough IMO if they give us Madden gameplay with college playstyles and atmospheres.

I really hope they get the Dynasty and Road to Glory modes right; that's the big question to me but they have to understand those modes are incredibly important for the college game vs. how the franchise mode generally isn't prioritized, right? RIGHT?

I'm trying to finish P3: Reloaded in time, because yeah, I don't think I have the discipline to not just drop everything when Rebirth comes out.

For folks who played it, do you think the INTERMission (or whatever tf it's called) Yuffie DLC is worth playing?

Yeah, it's actively great. Yuffie is a blast to play, and it adds a bunch of fun details to the world-building.

Predecessor has been good fun. I've played most of the Paragon remakes. Nothing captures the original, but this one sure is close.

I am a madden expert. Everything you say is true. Also I’m a HS football coach and the on field mechanics are corrupt (non consistent nor realistic, particularly with DB coverage). They have a lot to work through with game play, but seem to only care about online play community.

Yeah, my friends loved Paragon and like Predecessor quite a bit. It's not really my cup of tea personally but I play every once in awhile just to hang out with my friends.

I have no faith in modern EA creating a compelling dynasty mode in NCAA Football.

It's $9 right now, so I gifted it to a couple buddies.

Thanks for that! I hopped onto PSN to discover that there is a Twin Pack where preordering Rebirth gives you Remake Intergrade for free. So I guess I'll tackle the Yuffie DLC now :)
