Is Midds not practicing because he had knee surgery this off-season? Or does he have another injury we should be concerned about?

Wierd not seeing him wearing anything on his knee such a great sign.Am i wrong or has he lost weight seems like hes lost alot.I read 20 from somewhere

Some thoughts, not just for you, but everyone

1) Whether he wears anything on his knee or not, it ultimately makes no real difference. Braces aren't demonstrated to create any meaningful physical change, but if he wants to wear it, 100% go for it.

2) Pain is a fairly unreliable marker for how someone is tracking. While being 100% pain free is ideal, reality is that every athlete, every week is sore somewhere, and they play through it. We are much better served looking at how he plays - if he looks limited, it's an issue.

3) I really don't care about how Khris is feeling in the first week of October. It's good he's fine now, it'll be great if he's fine come playoffs. Load manage him all season for all I care.

That's Khris' sweat on a restricted practice btw. Imagine how much he sweats in a normal one.
We must have a guy with a mop following him around the whole time.

Really impressed with Griffin today in is presser, he is so much more comfortable when just talking basketball. The players seemed to enjoy a competitive practice today.

Jae was asked if he gained weight, and he said he cut weight and that he feels lean. He had been listed at 235 for years even though there was almost no way that was accurate. Dude weighed 241 at the combine.

Cam Payne is a fun listen.

Cam Payne said he got the call from Milwaukee 10 minutes after the dame woj bomb.

So we had already gave him the spot before Bullock even got let go

I kinda have a feeling that Jon made 10 moves/steps/calls ahead before the Celtics swooped in and took in Cam for their bench.

Yeah, probably called right after he was cut and told him they'd open a spot for him before camp.

Griff sounds so much better in this type of setting than a formal press conference. Liked what we heard in all those videos
