I enjoyed Jury Duty so much. One of my favourite comedy shows in awhile. The Ronald guy being super sweet and genuine capped it off.

Those both look exhausting for different reasons.

I love history and am fond of native American history. Maybe I went in with too high of expectations but I thought this book was meh at best.

Just of Native American books I read fairly recently I thought Black Elk and Empire of the Summer Moon were better. Both would be excellent movies. Hell you could actually do Black Elks life as a 3 or 4 season series.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Mrs. Davis went out with a whimper, but it did have some very, very funny moments and revelations.

This weeks episode of Ted Lasso might have been my favorite of the season. They focused a lot more on the better characters and storyline development.

Agree with this. Might be too little too late for me though. I heard rumors that they might do another season after this given how badly they're stumbling towards the finish line. Don't know how to feel about that, especially since Sudeikis basically said this was his last season so that would imply that someone else is taking over the coaching mantle....

I would've definitely recognized this guy though if I was in Ronald's shoes...

This season has been so bad, I'm only watching at this point to see how they wrap it up (assuming they stick to the 3 seasons).

Ron Swanson wrote:Yeah, felt like Barry was trying really hard to do something profound and avant-garde but it just came off as a cheap Coen Brothers imitation. I really don't know why they chose to make this kind of dramatic narrative turn. I hope the finale is an all-timer but between this and Ted Lasso, disappointing final seasons seems to be the theme of early 2023......except Succession of course.

Spoiler:
Thinking it ends like Eastbound and Down. The last two episodes are going to be revealed as someone’s fantasy, either Barry writing it in jail or Gene’s script.

Killers of the Flower Moon debuted at Cannes. Clocks in at 3:40. Decent but mixed reviews so far.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Everything SC Gwynne writes is gold. But Empire of the Summer Moon is especially riveting and beautiful.

I think he was also in Community. Risky choice.

3:40?

Good God. Pass.
