Calling me idiot, troll, and some here called me insane and certifiable. These types of comments are not opinions, they are rude and uncalled for personal attacks.

Childress was laughably terrible the whole time he was with Olympiacos. The team and the fans threw a celebration when they finally got him to leave.

When he played in away games, in almost every game the fans were laughing at how bad he was. The opposing teams did not even guard him. He was left wide open the whole game of every game.

He was one of the WORST players of Euroleague.

They didn't guard him? That explains how he was able to shoot over 60% from the field. Probably a tactical error all things considered.

I am an Olympiacos fan and definetely we did not throw a celebration when he left. The team was relieved because Childress had a huge huge contract, He was not laughable, and he wasnt left open by the opposing teams. He just wasnt the guy u wanna pay 4.5 million euros per year after taxes

He never shot over 60% from the field. That's completely untrue.

He was left unguarded every game. He was an absolutely terrible player the 2 years he was on Olympiacos. The guy had absolutely no basketball skills or ability at all, other than dribbling.

He had ONE basketball ability, which was dribbling. He could do absolutely nothing else. He was one of the worst Olympiacos players of recent times.

There is no chance that you have ever seen Josh Childress play in an Olympiacos game. None. If you polled on a Greek basketball site about Childress, 8 out of 10 would most likely say he was the worst player on that team.

He never shot 59.3% Are you guys going to actually get serious here or not? I don't want to be rude, like some of you guys are being rude to me, but stop trolling me.

Look at that stat and re-read it. Because you are clearly reading it wrong.

No, he did not. Re-read the stat. This is not that difficult to comprehend. Besides the point, we were talking about Euroleague, not Greek League. But he did not shoot over 60% in Greek League either.

The stats and links you are quoting only prove he did NOT. So you guys are having some kind of problem with not actually reading what the stat says.

Really? Oh my............

No. According to that page, that was in GREEK LEAGUE, not Euroleague, and he did NOT shoot 62% from the field in Greek League, according to that page.

They're posting Euroleague stats. How does that prove what he did in the Greek League? I don't have to re-read the stat because I know it's 2pt% in the Euroleague. I'm talking about 2009-2010, Greek League, totally unguarded, 61.2% from the field. Should have guarded him.

Yes, thank you for actually reading what the stat said, after I asked several times. Now, notice that one of the stats you guys are quoting, was for GREEK LEAGUE, which does not even have anything to do with Euroleague.

So, now you guys can actually post the FG stats, for both leagues if you want, you will see that he most surely did not shoot over 60% in Euroleague. So in the future, please don't try to make arguments based on false stats.

Once again, you don't know the stats. He never shot over 60% from the field in the Greek League. That never actually happened. You just don't know how to properly read the stats on that site.

Also, Olympiacos never won Greek League with him, so yeah, the defense strategy definitely worked. Just leave him open so he can brick shots, or just pass it without even shooting. Childress is a terribly bad basketball player.

The Greek league and Euroleague are loaded, are TEAMING with much better players than Josh Childress, before, then, and now.

You said he was laughably terrible "the whole time he was with Olympiacos". That would include his Greek League games.

He also made all-Euroleague 2nd team. Crazy for one of the worst players in the league to be honored in that way.

No, you need to learn how to read the stats. The stats you're citing are for 08-09. They also include cup games. They are for all non-Euroleague competitions.

The only crazy thing I see right now in this forum, is a bunch of NBA fans trying to claim a dreadful awful player like Childress was the best at anything, and one of the best in Europe, Greece, whatever.

From now on emunney, when you start criticizing me for not knowing about NBA, and all this other stuff, I will just laugh. Because clearly, I know tons more about NBA than you do. It's clear to me you have never even seen Josh Childress play basketball and that you clearly have no idea who he even is.

This guy is a scrub of the highest magnitude. And anyone saying they are NBA fan or Olympiacos fan or whatever that claims Childress is anything other than a terrible player - that person has never actually seen Josh Childress play basketball.

Childress = scrub in Greek League, scrub in Euroleague, scrub in NBA.

And you obviously have an incredibly limited basketball knowledge. No reason for me to be insulted by your snide comments here anymore, as now I just realize that you don't even know anything about NBA players, let alone guys in Europe.
