I do think it could have been an all timer, there were 3-5 things in the Woj podcast about this story that made me tear up that were not even included. If anything, they undersold Giannis’ commitment to brothers and parents. Also, the kid (Giannis) is so charismatic, and that only came out in the nike scene. They should have shown what an infectious personality he has.

All the talk about SW and Rise of Skywalker and whatnot made me really confused reading this post.

We need all the mods to convene and make a decision on where to talk about this movie. The Giannis mvp thread? Movie thread? ATL thread? Im confused myself.

It's already being discussed in multiple threads. Probably best in this thread and a welcome respite from all the SW stuff.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Took my 72 yr old sister to see Elvis last night because she has been a huge fan of his forever , I'm a Elvis fan to . Don't generally care for these types of movies because I know how it ends, that being said the movie was pretty good and the guy who played Elvis nailed it ! Colonol parker really was piece of work . great job by Hanks .

We Own This City was good. David Simon and George Pelecanos (The Wire) and several actors from The Wire and Jon Bernthal

Black Phone was decent for a horror movie. Very old-school feel to it.

I enjoyed Rise (the Giannis movie).

I did not realize it was two hours. Most of the time when I watch a two-hour movie I get bored by the end, but I was not. I was hoping it would have put some post-draft stuff...such as Giannis walking miles in the snow to games because he is sending all of his money back to his parents, wanting to buy the Bucks practice facility so he can sleep there and practice....etc.

But I understand, that would have been too long. Would have had to make that a miniseries, and I am probably one of the only people who would've watched that.

For my people into **** reality television, "The One that Got Away" is highly enjoyable when it comes to watching the world burn. It's a bunch of stupid people acting out how they think The Bachelor or Bachelorette would act, and their interpretations are something to behold.

I'm a big fan of Pelecanos and his books. I also think The Wire is arguably the greatest show ever, so this is encouraging to hear.

Pumped to check out The Bear. Hopefully it's released down here soon or I might have to go an alternate route to watch it.

Just finished the first 3 episodes of The Old Man. Knew nothing going in expect I like Jeff Bridges and Lithcow and had heard good things. Really well done so far and I'm intrigued where it's going to go.

Uncut Gems with sandwiches. I've only seen 1.5 eps, though.

Between the Red Wedding/oner episode of The Bear and the latest episode of The Old Man, there has been some highly stressful TV lately.
