Not super upset with RoLo but I agree, said it earlier, but Bamba could really model his game after modern day Lopez. Help side defender and 3 pters

Another season without a true point guard, sigh

And that makes missing out on that Brook sign and trade even more hideous.

Dario Saric is a cheaper version of Bobby and nobody has signed him yet. So for what it’s worth, that’s a knock on Bobby’s value at the moment.

Giannis is a FA in 2-3 years. IMO Bucks need to find a way to bring in that next wave of potential star power after Jrue/Brook to keep him happy. Landing a young-ish potential star in Sexton is the kind of trade that makes it worth it.

We cannot start emptying the cupboard in a trade for a potential star. It needs to be a super star.

What superstar are we getting in a package for an expiring Grayson, Pat and a 2029 first? Lol Sexton might be the best we could do league wide.

You need the 2029 first to combine with more firsts beyond that down the road. We’re in the spot we are right now because we don’t have firsts we can trade for quite a while that we’d need to make a blockbuster trade. Trading one now would just be kicking the can down the road even further, and we cannot afford to do that.

We have Giannis under contract. We’re in a championship window now. Horst should be all in every year, picks be damned.

Yea, I love me some picks. But if the '29 pick can make the team better right now then there really should be no discussion. The window is right now.

A first round pick isn't much of anything. I'd trade that 2029 first in a heartbeat. Since new CBA will have them drop to end of round if second apron tax. That's like a early second round pick that has a higher salary. Better off buying second round picks if anything.

Playing around with the idea that maybe New York would rather have Sexton locked into a team-friendly deal rather than risk overpaying IQ (and in this scenario add Olynyk to soak up Toppin's vacant minutes). Ainge adds another 1st to his war chest (and ~$30M in expirings). We upgrade the backcourt while keeping Bobby/Pat, Fontecchio for fun(tecchio).

MKE: Quickley, Fontecchio
UTA: Fournier, Allen, MKE '29 1st, DET '24 2nd
NYK: Sexton, Olynyk

I'd trade it. Were probably deep in the playoffs and or in second tax apron. So that first probably moved near the bottom of the pile with new CBA.

I would’ve been willing to give up a first in a package for players like Quickley+Toppin+Hartenstein

I’m not including a first for Sexton even if Olynyk is in the package

I’m still on the fence in a package with OKC like Mann+Poku+? Would have protections on it at least

I thought Olynyk just signed a contract? He can't be traded already.

He did not sign a contract, his option was picked up.
