No idea how anyone can trust Wiggins at this point. Do people think it's a coincidence that the one year he actually looked motivated was right before GS inked him to that extension? I'm certainly not gonna fault him for the personal/family stuff, but this didn't just manifest out of nowhere. The pre-draft concerns about his motor and work ethic turned out to be spot on. He's just so insanely physically gifted that he's still gonna end up with a decade long career and a quarter billion dollars in earnings even in spite of that.

I'm sure Horst will make a move to drop below the 2nd apron. My guess is Horst is thinking he could do so if/when he trades Brook. If so, there is no need to dump Connaughton when his salary could be useful at the trade deadline.

Maybe Pat has something on Horst? And we used to think he had something on Bud & Griff.

It's not holding us back from anything. Any deal after getting below the 2nd apron would need to keep us there. We can aggregate now, as long as the trade bring us below, so it's really not holding us back.

Then he took that leave of absence and GSW was real secretive about it and there was tons of speculation and idk if the truth ever even surfaced, but he hasn’t been the same player since.

If being around Kerr Steph and Green wasn’t motivating enough I’m not sure what the difference would be with Doc Giannis and Dame. That’s a high risk moderate reward move it seems like now, I think we can do better.

I’m not one that is on this Moses Moody gravy train. Not that I think he sucks or anything but eating Wiggins contract and personal problems for the right to hope and pray Moses Moody is a championship caliber starter sounds absolutely ridiculous to me.

Kuminga remains the only interesting Warrior worth talking about and he’s a pipe dream now. The time to strike for him was when he hit Kerrs dog house after he went to the media to complain about being unhappy in his situation.

Lowe said on his pod recently that he knows Wiggins is still going through personal stuff. He said he didn’t know what it was, but that it was serious.

I guess it depends if you want to take a gamble on a really talented guy who may or may not fully bounce back from whatever is going on.

I’d probably do it just because I don’t think the price is high considering what Wiggins can be when he’s engaged.

Sounds like his father has been dealing with a serious medical issue dating back to February, 2023. I'm not sure what this issue is but can see how this could be detrimental to his on court production.

"According to a report from Shams Charania, the reason for Wiggins' absence was that his father, Mitchell Wiggins, has been dealing with a serious medical situation. Included in the report is that the Golden State Warriors have given Wiggins total space and freedom to deal with this."

Unless the Bucks get the return they're looking for out of Brook, I bet they feel like they're good.

Internally, I think they're saying we improved our perimeter defense in the starting lineup (Wright), added a versatile forward who can hit shots to the second unit and we think our young guys are pretty good. It's a rosie standpoint to take but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the roster opening night.

Excellent question, would love to see it answered because I honestly have no idea what kind of player he is and it does seem possible he would be here if we move Lopez.

Wiggins is who he is, him not giving a **** has been an issue his whole career minus one playoff run and he's got $75M more guaranteed regardless of whatever df he's going thru in addition off the court. Counting on him to contribute is a FAR bigger risk than counting on our rookies or min signings Prince/Wright. Quite frankly, I wouldn't want a guy like that on the team getting paid like that no matter what was given up. I'd roll with Brook, Bobby, Pat, anybody over that. Last thing we need. Desperation reaks, be better!

FWIW, Owczarski reported that Milt Newton told him Besson won't be coming over for SL because he has no chance of making the team this year.

People are going to say "3&D" but from what I've seen, he can get his own shot in the midrange along the lines (but not to the degree) of Midds or Kawhi. I think he'd be a very nice longterm piece to add and I think he's ready to go. I don't understand why the Ws didn't just elevate him.

Besson is our new Szymon Szewczyk.

I understand this take for this year but am worried if we don't trade him we end up losing that big salary spot for nothing. Part of the reason you trade Brook is to grab someone's Bird rights and be able to pay them in the next year or two.

Pruntdog is back.

Also, Doc's son Spencer is on staff now. With no Thanasis, got to get your nepotism from somewhere :)

It's going to require a draft pick to move Pat, so no surprise here.

I believe Vin Baker Jr is on the Summer League roster again as well.

He said it in the second round draft presser for Tyler Smith. Was a touch awkward, not sure if that's how he meant to say it in that setting.

I’m fine with keeping Brook but you need a playable backup center or for Giannis to take significant center minutes.

At his age and stature we have been VERY lucky that he’s been healthy the past two years. Definitely would not anticipate that being the norm, especially at 30+ minutes a game.

I'd prefer to keep Brook. I don't see any readily available replacements out there.

But Bobby seems like he can go.

Sacramento trades Lyles and Ellis, Milwaukee trades Portis. Works.
