Yeah, that would be ludacrisp. Even if we had to take back crappy contracts for a year or two. Wouldn't matter. You could conceivably walk away with Embiid, Gordon, Stauskas and LaVine (or fill in your favorite four guys)

Ersan might be the crappy contract you give a pick to get rid of, not the other way around.

I'd be ecstatic to end up with Embiid and Saric.

I was thinking Wiggins, Anderson, Adams, Payton, Stokes,

Payton/Nate
Wiggins/Adams
Giannis/Middleton
Anderson/Stokes
Henson/Miroslav
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

He showed some positives this year, but his PG play was also a huge reason why we were as bad as we were, and as of right now I wouldn't want to offer him more than half that annually. There's always a team that will overpay for PPGZ, and I don't want us to be that team with Knight.

ETA - Here is his season compared to another young guard who put up 17 & 5 and was then rewarded that off-season with a seven year, 55 mil contract

Any first would do me. I don't see a guy his age who was a reasonably high pick, coming off a 'breakout' year deferring to a couple of younger guys. I think he's a way off being Derek Fisher too. Fisher is still in the league because he has a great feel for the game even if he isn't doing a lot.

Not sure if this is a jab at Knight or not (thinking it is), but one thing I don't question with him is his work ethic, hustle and heart. (ok, that was more than one thing)

Can't imagine the suns ever doing that. Other two seem reasonable.

Curious why you think it's a jab at Knight. Anybody with eyes can see he busts his ass.

Chicago can amnesty Boozer. Cant see the suns doing that trade either.

Probably because 2/3 of this board considers him trash and ignores any positives that are associated with him. If he was a prospect in the draft people would be drooling over his potential and talking about how we need to trade up to acquire him, but because he is 22 he has clearly hit his ceiling and will never do anything positive.

yep, true, but we do have articles that say the Bulls are more interested in trading Boozer than using their amnesty and they have made the hard trades to stay under the cap so I do think it's plausible. The Warriors set the market last summer with the Jefferson(11.05mil)+Beidrins(9mil) to the Jazz for two unprotected 1sts (2014 (23rd) + 2017) and two 2nds (2016+2017) so the Bulls 19th pick +? should be attainable or possibly the 16th pick. If we made the trade with the Kings first we'd have the cap space to absorb Boozer's deal. The Suns had rumored interest in Ersan this year but Herb was unwilling to let him go for a late first. I think their 27th pick is realistic but maybe if we swing #31 or preferably #36 back their way we could get their #18 pick. I think Frye opts out of the last year of his deal and goes to the highest bidder.

Can you tell me were has anybody said anything bad about his work ethic? Because that's what Supreme was talking about.

And were did you get the 2/3 of the number from?

I didn't like him much coming out Kentucky either, so no. He went #8 in a poor 2011 draft. His work ethic is fantastic, but even in a off the bench capacity, I don't see him being efficient enough of a shooter to make that work. He needs to get his 17-20 shots in and I don't think the contending team of the future that we all hope for has room for that.

It would be cool to get Thanasis. We need PR like that, and if they played well together it would be a great story. Where is he projected?
