For baseline to baseline seats I agree, there isn't much upside other than the cupholders. And more comfortable seats I guess. But the other lower seats are much better IMHO. And yeah it comes with increased cost though.

I think the secondary market will take awhile to settle in with prices. Right now they are high but no one really knows what the market will be in the new place. I loved getting rock bottom prices for lowers at the BC.

You have to go to a ticket agent and they'll print one out for you.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Do season ticket holders have to 'claim' the tickets? If so, how do you do it? Not seeing an option

I doubt I am going to get to a game this year. The single game prices are insanity. I guess I was just looking at the "marquee" games but I'm not willing to fork over that much for mediocre seats when my viewing experience at home is as close to the real thing as it is.

I think you'll see some cheap weeknight games in January/February. Prices are way too high on the secondary market.

Other than the home opener ticket prices look to be normal and affordable

Can't remember the games I looked at. I'm sure it included opening night, the Warriors, and a few other Sat games. It was corner seats in the lower level a lot of rows up for $153 +$30 in fees. $180 for lousy to mediocre seats is NOT OK.

They have four pricing tiers, Marquee, Elite, Premier and Standard. The price gap is large between Marquee and Standard games (a $98 standard ticket is $241 for a Marquee game). A quick look shows me that Friday/Saturday games are all either Marquee or elite. The Knicks game on 10/22 is standard. The Sixers game 2 days later on a Wednesday is Premier. The Toronto game on 10/29 is standard. I may go to that. Toronto is good but it's a Monday night and therefore cheaper.

Lower Level corner seats are not lousy or mediocre

Those prices are indeed very high compared to what Bucks fans are used to though.

I wouldn't call any seat in the new arena lousy. Some could be mediocre depending on your definition.

Personally, I just don't like the lower behind the basket seats, those are tough to want to pay for.

But, I'd have no problem paying for uppers 'behind the basket'....it's a great view

Agreed. I avoided corners at the BC. Terrible. But the corners I've sat in at the FF were much better. Of course I haven't seen a game there yet so we'll see. I'm kind of in a corner for the home opener. And I also won't sit directly behind the basket in the lowers. At any arena.

Admittedly, I am a bit of a ticket snob. I'm trying to reconcile that with the increased pricing. The value proposition just isn't reasonable at this point. I can stay at home and watch on a 120" screen with $.60 beers and be able to pause and rewind the game or I can pay $360 (not going alone) for lesser seats (for me) with $11 beers with a worse view. Usually I go at least a few times a year just to take part but I live out of town and its more time and money than even that (wear and tear on car, gas, dinner, etc).

It sounds like fun! I hope it is.
I admit to being a terrible judge of talent and having minimal knowledge of the game of basketball.

Ticket fees are all avoided if you go to the fiserv forum and buy, right?

Idk, I did some quick scanning on stubhub and prices seem fine. Initial ticket purchasing hype will fade and prices will probably drop a bit for the early season.

There's still going to be the ticket surcharge which is like $2 but all the Ticketmaster taxes and fees are avoided.
