Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
KM should have saw this coming 6 years ago and used the off seasons to turn himself into a Klay/Korver volume 3 guy.. instead he stayed the course determined to be Paul George but that's not where the NBA was going

2024/25 Khris Middleton couldn’t wash Manu Ginoblis jock strap. I love how committed you are at insisting Middleton is still a needle moving player, but I’m just gonna have to take your word for it because I don’t currently see it. I’ve seen a flash or 2 but we’re light years away from where we need to be and the season is approaching the halfway point.
As quickly as I apologized for blasting Khris for playing like ****, he started playing like **** again.

Underrated with Manu is he hustled 100% all game like a leader should show.. KM mentally probably wishes he could but the body might not be letting him
I see you finally admit Dame is a terrible leader. He absolutely never hustles, just an all time lazy dude.
Mids isn't fast, but goes 110% nonstop. This is why Mids has always been a winner, and Dame has never won squat.

Bud had interviews where he tried to tell KM to become a volume 3 guy and he didn't listen instead he butt heads insisting on long 2s

Middleton has always needed to be a playmaker because he's gone his entire career without playing with a real playmaking PG.

Kind of agree but at 38 min it's tough to go 100% ... he does have that gear on D and locks in when he wants to.. his quick feet make him a problem --- this is a gym rat, not a cleanup surgery/rest type

We won the Championship when Bud let Khris play the way you need to play to win in the playoffs.

Lillard has averaged just 53 games a season over the last 3 years.

KM got scorching hot from 3 in most of those serieses the champion year... he could have parlayed that "hot" into working to become a volume 3 guy and he didnt.. that's an opportunity he missed

There's an outlier year on there... averages don't tell a proper story when you include an outlier... (math)
I'll help you.. in his MVP conversation years he averaged around 70 games and last year he played over 70 games. I would say it's safe to assume he has prepared himself in belief he'll play more than 70 this year...

JayMKE wrote:So you super overrate Dame, he’s just not that good and that’s not because Giannis is getting in his way. Dame can’t beat guys off the dribble anymore and his FT grift doesn’t work in Milwaukee.
You're also not seeing the full picture I'm painting. Getting Giannis rolling is cool but it's also a grind with a lot of 2 pointers and possessions where he's fouled and we get 1 point --- leading to really close games... when you set up your O to get a Dame/Trey/Steph type on rythm then you're always getting 2/3 or even 4 points on a possession and now, play a little D and you're going to blink and we're up 20-25...
That's the prediction that's not on track; the one where Giannis steps back a little and makes it a priority to get Dame rolling and in rythm then Giannis picks his spots to take over. This would lead to many more points because it also leads to ball swings and more 3s for Green, GTJ, etc.

Dames unreliable and not a real playmaker, always go to Giannis 1st. Some nights he's the scorer, some night he's the playmaker, some night he's both. Dame points will come as the result of the attention Giannis gets.
Either way, it was just another night where the Bucks were good with Dame, but great with Dame off and a no PG lineup. Middleton was so smart that his PG minutes cooked so well that they overcame Bobby shooting 2-12.

If you don't think Dame can beat guys off the dribble then you don't watch games or are lying to yourself, no way around that.

He doesn't just need a screen, he needs it 35' from the hoop to give him a running start. The only time he beats someone off the dribble by himself is when it's a big.

He's already missed 7 games.

How do you reply to a blatant lie? Dame beats his guy off the dribble to the hoop 5+ times a night, this is stupidly obvious since he is so respected as a shooter, shouldn't have to explain this to you. You're using a PG getting a screen as a detriment to Dame

Sorry, I know you're upset, but your not actually beating a guy off the dribble if you're using a screen.

Just watch the highlights even and stop lying to yourself. If you can't think of the many times Dame gets closed out on hard and gets a free path to the basket per game then you're lying, no way around it. Yes I'm pretty upset because you speak so matter-of-factly and are usually wrong/lying

So now it's someone running past him? How about beating a squared up defender? Nevermind. I'll just keep enjoying how we roll teams when he's off the floor.

It helps both Giannis and Dame when our offense isn't too stand still and they each benefit from catching on the move going downhill with someone rolling, cutting, and being an outlet 3. We should be a run and gun team with a bit of chaos from defensive stops to get GA and Dame rolling.. honestly once they are rolling they can each get whatever the f they want - at will... basically they can each be unstoppable.... it takes more effort to get Dame rolling but Giannis needs the ball a fair amount as well to help him stay patient

3 pnt shooters that can still make plays from there... not to mention pump fake drive and kick which might be the best play in basketball. Bucks Van Horn and Kukoc were great at that
