I wish Horst could surround Giannis with the same talent Joker gets. Instead we have to trade half a decade of 2nds for the Jae Crowder's of the world.

I still think the Bucks could have been one of those underdog teams with the Giannis and guard lineup. Instead we get Doc throwing random lineups out there with zero chemistry. Pretty sure he had Sims, Brook and Giannis for a stretch in a game and I just about pulled my hair out. We're never winning with this doofus.

Giannis was the best player in the opening round, but it still felt like he hadn’t had a masterclass game yet. It absolutely blows that we were only able to dip our toes into the playoffs.

I felt like the further we got, the more and more we would have seen from him, and it would have been awesome.

Also, so many people talking about Giannis as a top-3 player is a joke. It’s him and Jokic at the top, and then there’s a gap to the next grouping. People having Shai or Tatum (really just Simmons wishcasting) is laughable.

Shai is shooting like 40% from the field to this point, and I think he’s a pretty clear case of being propped up by his teammates. Jokic and Giannis take an entire team to stop. Shai doesn’t garner near that attention.

1. Immaculate fit for the Met Gala.
2. Just watch Williams the entire time. It's incredible.

Because you have to introduce the new coach, who also was part of the press conference.

You don't have to have the guy who went through what he did sit up there for 10 minutes. Maybe I'm just sad because of what I remember of Pop in the past, and you got glimpses of it through where he is now, but it was rough.

It is sad, but it also helps put to rest questions as to his condition. He fainted two weeks ago at a restaurant, so rumors were swirling up again. Also shows that you don’t have to hide yourself away, if not in top health. That takes a lot of humility. I think he wanted to be there to support Johnson.

I’ll be curious to see what he will do as president, or if it is more of a figurehead, ceremonial role.

Popovich doesn't seem like the type of guy to take a pity job. Guessing he will have input.

Giannis averaged a 2.1 ast/to ratio in the regular season & 1.43 in the playoffs. He averaged almost a 7:1 in April after Dame went out, & the ball ran thru Giannis. 15 asts/2 TO's at Detroit in a meaningful game.

So it was a sub-par playoffs for him. More of that regular season brilliance as a playmaker has to maintain. He can't revert to ball hog mode the moment a teammate misses or the lights are brightest. That evolution was a reason I thought we'd win the series & it was a letdown.

If we had played the lineups we were all pleading for since the beginning of the series, we very well may have won.

I wouldn’t go as far as you in stating it’s sub-par, but me saying we hadn’t seen a masterclass yet is a nod to Giannis not having any singular legendary game which we know he’s capable of.

With that established, I still think he was the best player in the opening round.

I've watched this 3x now and I have the same reaction. I can't stop smiling/laughing...I'm fascinated. For what reason don't I know? But I will try:

a) i agree 100% on the fits
2) when you are that discerning about the taste of your sports drink and fit, that somehow provides evidence you will not get past DEN - you are the coyote ugly of renaissance men and the NBA playoffs are unimportant in the grand scheme
4) I can't articulate the cultural importance of this video
D) the only thing I think of when I see SGA, is him and Chet in that stupid ass "what a girl wants" ATT commercial and I want it out of my head, tyvm.
z) this video may help replace that.

Thank you MIG!

I would argue this shows they aren't afraid being down one. Isn't there a video of Khris and Jrue laughing being down 2-0 to the Suns and winning? This gives me no reason to think they won't win in 6.

How many years does he have left on his contract? Could see him as the type also to not take free money left on contract, and this is a way to earn his money.

I'm not arguing relative to other players way or if we'd have won w/ the preferred lineup. But when those shooters are out there, you have to feed them. Giannis was very inconsistent on that, and picked the wrong time to be selfish at the end of regulation in game 5.

It's an insult to what Giannis had shown to not acknowledge that series was sub-par for him from a passing & defensive standpoint. It was a step down from the NBA Cup & stretch matches. In the playoffs he looked comparatively pig-headed & lethargic.

What do you mean?
Aren't they pathetic nobodies that could not sniff an all-star selection even if it punched them in the face?
And aren't they this good only because of Jokic and if he was not on the team, they'd barely win 15 games?

I swear to god, I cannot handle any Jokic glazing anymore. I like him as a player and as a personality but every time his glazers come out of the woods, they are being insufferable to a ridiculous degree.
