Kuzma and Pat for a guard or wing would be amazing right now.

Not sure what Miami is looking for with Wiggins, but Kuz/Pat +?, for Wiggins and about 4M of salary works in the trade checker (Kevin Love, HIghsmith, Jacquez, Jovic would all make it work salary wise)

Maybe Miami can figure out a way to move Pat for a TPE?

It would be interesting if we brought him back on a two year min type of deal.

I’d unload the full clip of future draft assets is Trey Murphy was at all possible.

KPJ/Rollins
Trent/Green
Murphy/Prince
Giannis/Bobby
Turner/Sims

Uhhh, yeah

Pat and Kuz works for RJ Barrett or Quickley who've both been in rumors. Maybe the GM-less Raptors can get talked into a deal. That's probably too optimistic lol.

Gotta wonder how much KPJ looking like a phenom played into the probability of waiving Dame.

The cap is at 154,647, which means that someone else has to be involved too. Pat waived and stretched too?

Can't do anymore waive-stretches. Bucks barely qualified to do it with Dame (cleared it by 600k)

In the 26-27 season Dame would have been 36, coming off an achilles, probably playing his first basketball post injury. But because he doesn't understand money he was considering opting out, lol k

I mean there are no lies told in this here tweet. For whatever reason a certain contingent of Bucks fans tried to paint Dame as something he wasn't the minute he arrived in Milwaukee. Why? I have no idea.

Lol Trey is 24 and super talented with one very good season on the sheet. We cannot afford him.

I hate when rich people act like having to do stuff poor people do, is so difficult. Getting paid 60 mil to play basketball 82 days of the year (when you habe a chef, nanny, and assistant) is not exactly hard times.

I didn’t dislike Dame, but his whole “its hard to be away from family” was tiresome for those of us who work hard and sometimes have to be away from family.

Dame ain't coming back, even if we could sign him (and I don't think we can re-sign him until after the date when his original contract would have expired). He'll go play in Miami or sign with GS or back with Portland. He'll take a cheap deal just to be closer to where he wants.

Yeah, I very much doubt he would opt out of all that money with his injury and his age. But Spears is another mouthpiece for Dame like Haynes is, so who knows what the thinking is there. Maybe Dame was thinking that pre-injury.

But can someone please explain to me the benefit of using the mle on Trent and Kpj when you didnt have to for either one? We could have used the full 14 or close to it for someone else and now we simply cannot for what upside???

Might have been a good faith agreement? Did they end up getting more than mine? Could see it being a situation where you get this contract if we go this way but if we sign turner and open up more space you get a better contract. Does this keep us under the tax by not using the full MLE? Like at somepoint the owners have to draw a line on how much they are willing to spend.

Dame: “My play struggled because I hate to be away from my kids in Portland”

Also Dame: “Id really like to play in Miami”

The idea of Dame not taking a player option coming off a torn Achilles at his age is preposterous. He was 1000% opting into that year.

He only talked about it when asked about it. Fresh divorce. Living on the other side of the country from his young children. He's human. And the only reason we hear about it is because he's famous. Does it happen to less wealthy people too? All the time. Why that doesn't make people even more empathetic? No idea.
