Seems silly to build a skywalk for 5% of the fans going to the game. Would be cool it at least season ticket holders could use it.

Limiting access to a skywalk, WTF is this?

They do that at Rockets games too. It’s freaking bush league. They should make a big skywalk in for all fans, especially up north.

Drove past the arena today after leaving Betty Brinn (hit a pothole over by MSOE that just about got us airborne lol) the arena looks great, parking structure looks great, question on the parking structure. The west side of the building I believe is all concrete. I hope they plan on putting something on it or painting it, looks pretty plain and slightly an eyesore

Greedy NY owners will view that as prime marketing space and charge a crazy price for ad placement imo

The best thing that could happen is if fans with regular tickets stop using it. I'm sure it's not cheap to park there to begin with and if you're cut off from using one of the main things that you would want to park there for, there should be no reason to use it again. It's not like there's any shortage of parking in the area that's in all likelihood cheaper as well.

It's actually going to be apartments on that side so the wall won't be seen. That makes more sense and might look cool.

I park for free 75% of the time within a few blocks. Then I justify spending more on tickets and gear lol. Parking structures are a pain to leave anyway, just sucks that they didn't add a 2nd skywalk or just allow any fans to use it. Oh well, figured this would happen.

It amazes me that the majority of able bodied younger bucks fans rather pay to park in a structure than walk less than 15 min to water where there is plenty of parking. Between having to pay the machine and wait for others in the structure I can almost guarantee you I make it to the highway first.

I parked in Isaacs last week because it was 20 below and I wanted to be as close as I could to spend as little time outside as possible. Proceeded to spend 20 minutes without moving because some person couldn't figure out how to put the ticket in the slot or something. I don't really know the reason but it had to have been something stupid like that if nobody moved for 20 minutes.

Gotta keep those 1 percenters insulated from the peons and riffraff

If this is accurate, that's just ridiculous. If you pay the $30 or whatever to park there, you should be able to use the skywalk.

The $47 million garage, which is being built in part with $35 million from a city tax-incremental financing district, will be directly connected to the new arena via a skywalk on the garage’s third level. Suite and club ticket holders will have access to the skywalk, while others will join the approximately 80 percent of ticket holders who are expected to enter through the Wisconsin Entertainment & Sports Center’s front door along N. 4th St.
