I mean I’d hope so. The “search” has been going on since March.

From my understanding, they actually are narrowing it down. My brother-in-law was in Vegas to network off of leaving his DI HC gig and taking it slow and steady while finding out what works for he and the fam. He actually chatted with several G-League peeps. From our brief talks, it almost seemed like the Bucks are waiting for the whole staff to assemble before announcing? (No he won’t be living in Oshkosh).

Totally. It’s beeeeeen a lonnnnnng drawn out process. My feeling is after the roster is finished they will complete with the Herd. There is a big organizational shift here and I think Bud has a big say in this.

Yeah, my only hope is that it’s a Bud guy who’ll be completely synchronized with everything he’s doing. Wasn’t the case with Brady, the Mormon Jason Kidd of G-league coaches.

Thinking that Shaun Livingston would be my ideal signing for our last active roster spot -- particularly if the plan is for George Hill to play a lot alongside Bledsoe.

PG: Bledsoe, Livingston
SG: Hill, Matthews, DDV, Brown
SF: Middleton, Korver, Connaughton, Thanasis
PF: Giannis, DJ, Ersan
C: BroLo, RoLo

Exactly. Interviews w Dave Dean in June indicated the primary focus was the extension to Bud’s coaching staff. Considering the Bucks award-driven offseason, it just seems as though it is right around the corner. This was loosely verified via convos with my bro though he obviously wouldn’t get into specifics as it’s mostly very tight to the chest.

Livingston
Carter
JR

In that order. There may be prospects and projects I don't know about and could be talked into such a route pretty easily, but from what remains, this is what I want and the order I want it in.

Hill should not be the starting SG.

Bring in Devin Harris to be the third PG.

Devin has always been opposed to playing at home, but now that Dallas has 7 point guards, the Bucks are a title contender and he’s at the end of his career that could be different. Wouldn’t be surprised if he retired into some cushy role with the Mavericks either.

Fine with Harris, still think Shelvin Mack is the best point guard available.

Give Nehm credit. He asked the question we all wanted answered. They even brought Albert into it.

What I took from Horst's answer was "We worked so damn hard to get Brook and Hill to re-up at the numbers they accepted. Once the Brogdon trade became a reality on Sunday, I wasn't going to open up that can of worms again with their agents for the TPE"

I'm fine with that answer. Brook and Hill could have likely gotten those contracts (or even a little richer) from a number of other teams. Getting those guys to agree was job #1. The TPE was well down the list.
I just want to point out that both those guys signed for less than market rates to stay here and 720k the first year meant 2.3m for Hill or 3.1m for BroLo over the life of those contracts. How people still think they could have just deferred 720k is completely beyond me. How could you possibly ask either guy to take 2-3m paycuts on what is likely their last big FA deal when they are already giving discounts??

The answer is YOU DON'T

Can Harris still play?

Not really, I'd rather sign an actual shooter instead of Harris.

Mack wouldn't upset me in theory, but don't remember seeing him play much at all past 3 years.

A Canadian saying "bruh?" Really? Should be banned just for that.

awd4cy wrote:That Frank Mason signing on a two way is awesome. I wonder if he just didn’t fit in at Sacramento. I think he will be good in the right situation. Just fill out that last roster spot with JR or Livingston and this was a really good week.

I don't see any purpose Mason fills except during the last 3-4 minutes of blow-out games. Granted, if we keep our point differential as high as last year, it could mean over 150 minutes of playing time.

can't play defense, hasn't shot well.
