I don't know, Gasol looks straight-up weird this skinny. He, more than Jokic I think, has his game predicated on size. It's probably good Jokic lost some lbs, but Gasol? Not sure. He's very clearly on his way out, so maybe he felt he needed to drop the weight to keep his stamina up and stay on the court.

I agree, and it's probably just my wishful thinking after he was able to abuse Giannis last year, but I think Giannis would have a significantly harder time against tubby Gasol just because he couldn't move him. Maybe the extra agility he'll (probably) have gained will make up for the lack of bulk, but I'd say it more likely helps him on the offensive end move more fluidly than the defensive.

But then again what the hell do I know?

Meanwhile either Giannis looks huge or I just forgot what a monster he is.

i'm not a betting man - but it's reasonable to think that bledsoe has/had the 'rona, right? he's a starter and has yet to be seen on any bucks bubble-related social media post.

i haven't seen illy, either. or pat! or kyle!

malika andrews confirmed that thanasis is in the bubble.

just want to see all my boys back together :(

Maybe use Wilson instead of Brook just in case we would get penalized.

Hope everything is ok for Zion and his family. If someone leaves the bubble do they have to quarantine for 14 days once returning?

This could actually happen and it wouldn't surprise me if one or both of them was involved.

I believe so, which makes the opener on 7/30 not watchable. But I'll watch anyway.

According to the ESPN article if he gets tested everyday he’d only have to quarantine for four days. If he doesn’t it’s ten days.

I do find it amusing that the NBA bent all the scheduling rules to make sure Zion could make the playoffs and now he had to leave. Hopefully everything is OK in his personal life and he can be back in time for games.

What rules did they bend for Zion? The Pelicans are the best team currently not in the playoffs so it seems natural they should be included. I think you may be more "amused" by a Wall & Beal-less Washington and a potentially Oubre-less Phoenix both being included.

So why are the same Bucks on every interview and in every photo from practice? No Korver, no Bledsoe, no Ersan, no Wilson, no Connaughton. Is this all a conscious decision to hide a number of players, so that no one can figure out who has the virus? If so, it's childish to the extreme. It would confirm that the issue is a player, not staff. It also makes it look like the Bucks think it is a horrible reflection on the player, when it isn't at all.

Why are you assuming it’s one guy? It could be (probably is) all of them.

Yep. They also could still be practicing in MKE as a group of Typhoid Mary's.

Would be sad if the NBA compromised the bubble to allow Zion back too early. Feel like once you leave, you're out for 14 days. Period.
