I'm sure the media will similarly say the regular season doesn't matter if the Bucks or Clippers or some other team they're skeptical of lays an egg too.
That's exactly what I expect the Bucks to do
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Does the nba cancel players’ game checks if they violate protocol? Because if not, why would he ever comply?

I assume they do and it's definitely time for the league to take a game check or two from Harden.midranger wrote:Does the nba cancel players’ game checks if they violate protocol? Because if not, why would he ever comply?

In two fantasy basketball leagues I auto-drafted Harden...

Re: ATL - 20-21 Season Begins
Are people really jumping on the Nets bandwagon after one game vs possibly the worst defense in the league and with KD having a chip on his shoulder vs his former team?
Give it a few months... Kyrie going to get upset and put a hex on his teammates for not letting him post up 8 times a game.

Boggles my mind that folks here wanted to trade Middleton for that imbecile.

Harden is tanking his own value. It’s like he wants to burn the Rockets down on his way out more than his future absence already would

Harden wants to go where he wants to go and he'll tank his value until that's all that's left, he's just following the AD playbook and as long as the league allows players to keep demanding trades with years left under contract its going to continue to happen. It worked out perfectly for AD, he got an NBA ring and max contract on the team he wanted to play for. Harden wants to be in Brooklyn with his buddies KD and Kyrie.

The league should suspend Harden for conduct but as far as 'allowing' guys to ask for trades I honestly don't know what the league can do. They already fine guys for that and technically Harden hasn't officially asked for a trade it's all just 'reports'. How do they stop that? I've mentioned it before with the tampering that I think severe agent penalties is the only solution and maybe that's the same here but it's just hard to litigate rumors.JayMKE wrote:Harden wants to go where he wants to go and he'll tank his value until that's all that's left, he's just following the AD playbook and as long as the league allows players to keep demanding trades with years left under contract its going to continue to happen. Unless there is mutual interest with Curry, I just don’t see Golden State moving on from him in the same way I can never see Milwaukee moving on from Giannis under the same circumstances.
Both are the number 1 reasons why these two franchises aren’t still in the dumps.
Plus you probably make more money with Curry while ****ing the bed than without him.
Plus plus, if you’ve ever watched a basketball game in bar in San Francisco, you’ll know how delusional casuals up there can be.
Milk it.

Easy. Steal the NFL playbook.WeekapaugGroove wrote:The league should suspend Harden for conduct but as far as 'allowing' guys to ask for trades I honestly don't know what the league can do. Alot can change when a player starts getting fined 50k a week and not getting game checks for "asking for a trade" and acting like a douche

Re: ATL - 20-21 Season Begins
I don't even like the NFL, but one of the best things or biggest differences they have going is that once Mahomes became Mahomes the immediate conversation wasn't about how and when he'll get out of KC to someplace cooler. If Jacksonville gets Lawrence the talk around it won't be about where he wants to be after his rookie contract is up, like it involved with Zion. NBA has a lot of things going for it (and things against the NFL) long term with how it can close the gap with the NFL, but this big thing needs to be addressed or they're never going get even close to catching them. Same applies to this Harden/AD type situations. Sure, it happens occasionally in the NFL but it's rare and one player doesn't have same importance (think LaVeon Bell) like it does in the NBA.
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

What I'm referring to is the league policing trade demands when 99% are just reports from guys like Woj.

I guess McLemore had already tested positive and this new group of Rockets' quarantines is related to a new and different player's positive test.
