Refs screw us with every team.

Dedmon being instantly productive for Miami is infuriating.

As someone who's defended his basketball prowess and character since before his first title, watching folks continue to diminish or qualify Lebron's greatness on these forums and in twitterverse remains one of the more head scratching sports-takey phenomenons I've ever seen. Its embarrassing really. I know the nature of social media is to "pick a side" but I cannot for the life of me imagine spending hours/days/weeks/months/years sh*tting on, instead of appreciating, at worst a top-3 player of all-time. What a world.

That's what our society has devolved into. I always look at the Messi vs Ronaldo debate. Both are generational talents, you can have your opinions of each of them (on and off the pitch), but can't we just appreciate how great they both are?

Same with LBJ vs MJ stuff like you mentioned. Seeing what goes on regularly on Twitter is just sad. Top comments on **** not even about them is a stan of one of theirs with some copy and paste garbage.

This Knicks team is super likable and respect what they’ve done, but they’d be by far the easiest first round matchup IMO. Just don’t think they have the firepower to hang with us over 7, but I think Miami/Boston/ATL have a real shot at the upset.

I'd rather face Atlanta but I agree, I don't think the Knicks could beat the Bucks, either.

Anybody could beat the Bucks, the teams are not that far apart anymore. One injury could level us (or worse) with any other playoff team.

But it turns out that Parker might not just be a complete end-of-bench, break glass in case of emergency kind of guy. As we all roll our eyes at an injury report more never-ending than the breadsticks at Olive Garden, Parker has taken advantage of the opportunity to give the Boston Celtics 15 somewhat productive minutes off the bench.

So it's time eat some crow. Not the whole crow, mind you. Maybe, like, a wing. He’s still not going to take minutes away from the regulars when (if?) the team is fully healthy, but there might be some times where he gets the call over Grant Williams or Semi Ojeleye.

“We're hoping that we can do with Jabari a little bit like we did with Evan Turner,” Danny Ainge said earlier in the day. “(Turner) was the number two pick in the draft and started his career out well and was without a place really and came into the Celtics and played very well for us and got himself a big contract with Portland Trail Blazers. So we’re hoping we can help Jabari and he can help us.”

Just a reminder, Jason Kidd once had Khris Middleton intentionally miss a free throw when they were up by 3 points.

And followed it up with the ultimate loser talk, 'with our luck, we would have fouled them for a four point play'

I think some of the LeBron criticism is generational, in that older dudes want to remember their guy as great/better.

I think a large portion is backlash to overexposure... LeBron is so hyped/promoted/praised many poke and pick flaws as a result.

Some is racially motivated.

Some people just find him unlikable.

At the end of today, tomorrow, the next day I think his career has been remarkable, and for a straight to famous kid from Akron he handled the spotlight better than he gets credit for. Similar fame destroyed Michal Jackson/Elvis/etc. So I don’t know.. he gets criticized. It will only be a tiny postscript on a life well lived.

Kyrie guarding Tatum and Tatum can't do ****. Superstar, baby!

For all the talk about Brooklyn's top 3, they might quietly also have the best supporting cast in the League.

Harris is a ridiculous 48% from three, Shamet is 39.5%, Jeff Green is still comfortably around his career averages at age 34, Griffin is bad as a star but he's a massive luxury as a 7th player, DAJ is still a double-double guy with Claxton filling the gaps at C, Mike James is severely underrated, and I don't know who is this Bruce Bowen guy but he's doing things. And all that despite losing LMA and Dinwiddie. Damn.

In case anyone is wondering how come they're not losing even though their big 3 are mostly out.

Wow. Don’t know if this has been posted in here after the initial news broke but these new details are troubling. Sterling has had a TOUGH road. I’m looking forward to seeing him continue to forge on.

Randle needs to be in the MVP conversation at this point. Playing out of his mind.

The Biggest win streaks right now are.

Knicks with 9 in a row.
Wizards with 7 in a row.

The 2nd best record belongs to the Suns.

Imagine writing that in 2019-20 season.

The Raptors outside of FVV/OG/Siakam - 6 players combining for 23 total points on 32% FG and 7% from 3 lol. Good god has that team fallen

Clutchiness does not exist. He could've done this in Game 7 of the NBA Finals and it would still be irrelevant because the sample size is so miniscule.

I’ll bite. If clutchiness doesn’t exist, how about its converse, chokiness? Is there no such thing as choking? Are you saying that last-second game-tying shot has the same psychodynamic as a first quarter shot in a lopsided game? No difference in heart rate, sphincter tightness, or requisite focus?

I think it’s true that we sometimes impute patterns to randomness and overassess things like perceived hot streaks, but performance under pressure on the big stage, in the big moment, is not that. Donte had his Robert Horry moment in the NCAAs, and that’s extremely suggestive about how he might respond under similar pressure in the playoffs.

I'll offer a challenge to you or anybody else who feels up to it. Select any player in the NBA (or multiple players if you're able) who will perform significantly above their regular season performance in this season's playoffs. Select another (group of) player(s) who will perform significantly below their regular season performance.

I believe you have a coin flip's chance of being correct on any player you choose.

And to be told by those who deny the mental part of the game that it was just a small sample size.

So is choking a thing or an illusion?
