Never assign to malice that can easily be incompetence. Like if they wanted the Lakers to win just call a foul on the bump. Lakers get to keep their TO and AR probably is a better choice than AD going to the line.

This. The Suns don’t have anyone close to Giannis’ level on D. Let alone someone like Brook who can just shut down the rim. Rim protection matters in the postseason. Layups are still more efficient than threes.

Hopefully we still remember how to do it come April because plenty of games, especially last night, have just been straight layup lines.
