Yeah, I loved his interview, he would fit in great here.

I watch some more film and his workout, does he remind anyone else of Shareef Abdur-Rahim.

I hope I'm wrong, but I see a rich-mans Johnny O'Bryant in Bam. Basically a JOB that can jump. Even right down to the love of a mediocre jumper.

I still have a Giles intrigue that can't be shaken. Would be happy with Bam or OG.

BTW what are they doing over at Kentucky...? Players never gain weight there and some come out skinnier too. Bam dropped 15 pounds between start of college and draft combine?? Hope it was weight he needed to lose

Because he was 19 and barely playing for his Brazilian pro team. Now he's 21 and coming off a pretty successful season as their starting PG.

I'd love Giles or OG...if ACLs weren't needed to play basketball.

Taking Paula over Dorsey or Thornwell would be a major disappointment for me

I'm surprised that people wouldn't like taking a flier on De Paula considering he was a pretty hot name the last two years. Kid still has some intriguing potential, versatility, and physical tools. Also doesn't have a broken jump shot. Whereas I think that a guy like Dorsey is gonna have to be a lights out shooter just to stay in the league.

He's big, but not a very good athlete.

I think I'm at the point where I would rather just get guys that excel at shooting, rather than hoping inconsistent shooters or guys that can only hit set shots with a lot of space will show marked improvement.

Bam/Da Paula draft would be the least inspiring Bucks draft in awhile for mine.

He's 242 at 6'9.5" his weight is fine for a 19 year old....

I just don't think his jumper and pg skills have developed the way you would have liked over the past couple of years.

Agree. I think Anunoby is going to be really good. He's only lasting til 17 (theoretically) because he's hurt.

I also noticed they have Morris going undrafted, which I would completely shocked at. I think he goes before 48.

My dream draft is:
17--Anyone that isn't Giles, but preferably Anunoby.
48--Morris

I'm cool with Bam.

Between Bam, and the O.G. from Indiana, there are some all time names in this year's class.

Bam seems to me like a middle class Nene. Which is a great pick at 17.

I would love to move up in the 2nd round or find some way to get WESLEY IWUNDU. Hes a great passer and I think a first round talent. If his shot improves some he could be a guy we all look back on and ask how everyone missed on him.

His big selling point was his size and strength though

"Official College Measurements" are always flimsy. Thon would have been listed at like 230 lbs had he gone to Kentucky.

My ideal scenario: Hambone helps out his protégé by trading Orlando's 25 and 33 picks to Milwaukee for 17. Bucks take Ojeleye at 25, Bolden at 33 and Mason at 48. Bucks get a wing, a big and a PG, all who shot 40%+ from 3 last year.

If the Bucks stay: Draft Ojeleye at 17 and Mason at 48.

He's basically an Amare Stoudemire at 19 physically, was Amare small/weak.

Just watching the vids on Paula, I don't see an NBA player...undrafted, I'd be down for signing him to a G league contract for sure, but Dorsey has an NBA skill that is a commodity right now and is the same age as De Paula. I'd draft Dorsey and send him to PG boot camp and see if you can build him up, otherwise, just use him off ball a bit like we did with Bayless.

Denver getting Dorsey one pick after us in the 2nd would be really annoying. Can already picture that dude torching teams off Jokic dimes.

I'm not sure if I am following this. Is someone calling Amare weak? Because before he got microfracture, he was the baddest MFer dunker in the league.
