Watched first two episodes of Hacks on HBO. We'll stick with it. Has potential.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I've watched all 4, I like it. Jean Smart is great.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The subway train scene is burned into my brain. They took the implied carnage from the comics and cranked it to 11

What I appreciated most about Invincible is how closely it stuck to the comics, right down to the visual style. Frame by frame it was perfect.

Then you have Jupiter's Legacy, which stretched a handful of pages from book three and made a whole season of terrible padded out TV.

I **** on Invincible but I gave it another shot and yeah it was pretty damn good. I had issues with the animation quality and the twist being forced but it turned out fine.

Looking for a couple really scary movies to watch I’ve probably never heard of.. even 80s or 90s

I watched black Christmas yesterday. Pretty good!

I feel like I’ve watched everything.

High Tension. French flick that I've always liked, but a lot of people hate.

Handmaids Tale is awful, right?

People keep telling me how good this season is, but it is some of the worst TV I’ve ever seen. Am I the crazy one?

Watched the first hour and a half of Army of the Dead and am dumbfounded that there is still another hour to go. There is no scene in this movie that gets to the point without wasting dozens of lines, and many scenes that never get there. I have laughed out loud several times as conversations meandered farther and farther from the plot. Did this movie have an editor? Did anybody read the screenplay?

I couldn't believe how long it was. A dumb, repetitive zombie movie that went for just under two and a half hours. What a world.

I caved after a lot of pressure and my summary would be that season 1 was very good, thus justifying the hype. And the lead actress was incredible in it, presumably she should've won or been nominated for every award. However, I think as they've tried to extend the show I think they've jumped the shark a bit. Essentially, if she escapes the show is over thus she made some awful illogical decision to keep her in. With no research or knowledge, I'd guess this is when the show has gone on beyond the book it was based on.

Note, I haven't watched any of season 4 yet. Been waiting for it to build up and have been busy.

You are not crazy.

My wife watches it and it's everything I can do to not roll my eyes (noticeably anyway). I do look out the window and roll them quite often.

I've never seen it, but hasn't the consensus been that it's been pretty bad since the start of season two?

That's what I've heard, and that seems about right to me. I was pretty ambivalent to it early on, so it must've been better then. She is so goddamn stupid it's infuriating and I don't even care.

I see DingleJerry kind of mentioned this already.

Edit: The "she" I'm referring to is the character, not my wife.
