$70 on PC. I know the industry is overdue for a change in pricing, but definitely makes me want some reviews first. Never really played big Square Enix RPGs (unless you count Deus Ex), but it has my interest if it grades out and isn’t a broken mess at launch.

So, so many terrible games. The Futuristic Battle Royale genre was like half the games. I also always laugh at 100% FMV game trailers.

Elden Ring was a big head scratcher. Like, the time for cinematic trailers has long since passed. I would have appreciated more gameplay, a different boss, or a different land. Just something that isn't a cinematic trailer.

Yeah a cinematic trailer after you already have seen gameplay is a confusing choice.

I also want that Metal game to be good (to give me that Doom fix) but the gameplay looked hella slow in the trailer.

Yeah she looks perpetually late 30s-40s.

Was actually about to post this as I saw it on reddit. I will absolutely be waiting until reviews and/or price drop.

...I do not think Forsaken looks good :o Maybe I'm just missing it somehow; people seem to love it. But it looks to me like it's going to be the quality of a half-assed AAA title, something that seems like a good idea and could be or even should be good, but ends up getting 6s and 7s/luke-warm reviews.

I’m so excited for the Star Wars Quantic Dream game. Love the decision systems they generally use and love the High Republic setting.

Arc Raiders looked interesting in an Outrider-ish way.

And idk if it was shown at the game awards or just the same day but the Matrix demo is insane.

Monolith is making Wonder woman people. If you played Shadow or Mordor game, you know this is gonna be dope. Lets make this game a success and WB will give Monolith full on JLA. Lets go!

I thought Nightingale looked pretty interesting in theory — fantasy Victorian survival game set in essentially the Feywild from DND. Personally, I think the survival game genre swings wildly in its levels of quality and depth, which makes me feel like this one will either boom or bust. Hope it’s good obviously, but not expecting it.

I think it's kinda incredible that It Takes Two won GOTY, and it wasn't listed in Polygon's Top 50 games of the year.

I could be cynical and say that Halo has just turned into Far Cry (because that's what most of the game is now), but the grappling hook is my favorite video game weapon and a legit blast once upgraded a bit. I clear who rooms without firing a gun. Just zip from enemy to enemy, stunning and hitting them in the face a few times. It rules.

Ended up really liking Halo Infinite, though the story was kind of underwhelming. I expected some twists but it was all very straightforward, setting up what's probably another trilogy.

So, this is the 3rd time in under a year that I ordered a higher end Razer product from Amazon and it was "Undeliverable because it is damaged". All three times this happened while at the Elm Grove UPS. Think I'll just order straight from the Razer site from now on.

Read on Twitter

I've actually never played this game, so may give it a whirl sometime while it's on free trial.

Cruising through FF7R for the PS5 (haven't played the Yuffie stuff before), and it's really just a gem of a game. It accomplishes the feat of building on the original and justifying it's own existence well beyond being a nostalgic thing that's pretty to look at.
