I thought of that too when the trade went down. Not like he's awesome or anything but comparing to other buy out guys, like RoLo, he's probably better than that. Not the worst big to grab to fill in rest of year and to bang with Embiid for 16 mins

I can't say I'm an expert on Tristan Thompson's current game, but I would think he's better than Moose?

I don’t see Thompson as a real option.

how does our cap situation affect our ability to sign buyout players? would we be able/willing to sign more than one?

Off court, Tristan Thompson doesn't necessarily seem like the best dude. I'd rather not have him around.

I didn’t realize Schroder had the same agent as Giannis and Thanasis.

Gery also heard:

If Schroder isn’t dealt by the deadline, some league officials believe the Bucks could still land him in a buyout.

Read on Twitter

Looks like Harrison Barnes is available for trade.

Kings: Brook, DDV, Hood
Bucks: Harrison Barnes and Chimezie Metu (and use the Craig TPE)

I guess it requires both DDV and Pat to get Sacramento into talking about Barnes. You also need a medical that will show them that Brook will be healthy enough to backup Holmes at some point in the season. Throw that Indy 2025 SRP and see if they keep talking.

Yea I'd probably take Schroder via a buyout. Not via trade.

I could have sworn I read earlier today that the Kings were signaling to teams that they intend to keep Barnes lol

Ibaka and Schroder as buyout candidates? If that’s the case we might as well stand with Donte and go for the buyouts if we can pick up guys like that.

Jrue/Schroder
Allen/Donte/Hill
Khris/Pat/Wes
Giannis/Ibaka
Portis/Brook

Sounds pretty good to me

He definitely does if you watch some of his better games from Utah and Memphis. We just don't need to utilize him as much.

Let's take advantage of the Knicks disfunction. Simple trade, Donte for Cam Reddish. Thibs would love Donte, and we get a long, young, defensive combo forward who can shoot the 3.

I don’t know if Schroder signs here if we still have Donte.

I do as well. I just do not think they do him dirty like that.

Yes, I think they trade him, they do him dirty.

My opinion, he will be a Buck the rest of his career. He signs with the Bucks on the cheap next season as we pay Bobby.

I wonder if we could get Bagley on the cheap if they are desperate enough to cut ties? Might be worth taking a flyer if the price is within reason.

Some of you aren't old enough to remember when I (Wery Goelfel) said that Bucks were signing Jerryd Bayless before they did it and the Bucks scrambled to figure out who I was and how I knew.
