Or signing Highsmith would've allowed Horst to dump Pat and get under the 2nd apron.

I don't follow.

It's possible Horst isn't willing to dump Pat until he finds Pat's replacement.

Sorry, I meant Milwaukee could trade Pat and the 2031 2nd to Detroit for a top 55 protected 2nd.

I'd rather have Dosunmu than Ingram if he's available. Can't really play Dame/Khris/Ingram/Giannis together

Gotcha. That'd be weird. Pat's not the kind of player you really need to replace. You just play somebody else.

Pelicans get fleeced in this trade and Milwaukee is the beneficiary. We would need to include the 2031 1st (unprotected) and AJax and Green to even be in the ball park. I also think the Lakers would need to send out Rui instead of Russell as the PELs would consider him more valuable.

I think if the Bucks were able to dump Pat, Horst would have done it by now.

I agree but can see why Horst could be leery just giving his minutes to AJax and Green since both need to improve defensively to play 15-20 meaningful minutes a night in the playoffs.

Green is fine defensively.

The Ingram thing is likely his agent wishcasting him to a contender.

People should listen to the Mahoney, Vernier, Wosny pod from last night. Those guys were trashing Ingram right and left. Basically saying he’s a high calorie scorer who can’t fit in any systems, doesn’t make players around him better and also wants a $200 million plus new deal.

They were brutal. By the end it made one prefer to acquire Zach Lavine.

Cool

Ill trade Brook, Bobby, AJ Johnson, Green, 31 1st, all remaining draft swaps and 2nds for him right now.

I get why everyone wants Keon Ellis from Sac, but he might be the lone remaining good defender on that team. He's going to be real hard to get.

Wild take. The only thing he brings to the table is scoring, which is the very last thing the Bucks need.

The Bucks need guys who don't care about scoring less than ten points a night, but do things like create havoc in passing lanes and grab offensive rebounds.

You would have to trade Khris if you're going for Ingram because you wouldn't be able to play our top 4 together with both. Ingram is obviously younger but he absolutely tanked Pels in this last years playoffs, he was truly dreadful on a level we've never seen Khris. You're probably just getting worse but younger if you go for Ingram

And you're just losing your Khris/Giannis cheatcode for free so no thank you

How do they get fleeced? Ingram and russell are close

Not to mention his unreliable health...

The irrational fan in me would be excited to get Ingram, but my thinking brain tells me it's a bad fit.

Forget Ingram. The right conclusion to take from that report is this is our chance to nab Terance Mann from LA in a 3-team deal.

He is a young Derezon. They used to talk about him when he was younger too. For the Bucks his game is too close to Middleton to have them together.

I just now learned two things about BI. He's only 26 and 6'8". I thought he was 29 and 6'11". That lankiness makes him look taller.

Anywho, I don't see how he fits in but if the price is right, do it. Been awhile since we've had a Tim Thomas, Charlie Villanueva-type to complain about.

Is a Dame/Ingram combo playable defensively? Man, makes me think drafting Dunn would have solved a lot of problems or opened up a lot of options
