Not much of a Kyrie guy but he'd be pretty awesome in Boston. Would maximize his talent and cover his flaws better than all but like 2-3 other teams.

What else do we think Boston would be sending?

Celtics could be saving a ton of money while also upgrading on a better and younger PG.

You'd think they would make a major offer...but if I were a Cavs fan, I wouldn't like that front offices' chances negotiating against Ainge.

This is Ainge, so he'll trade IT and the Boston 2018 unprotected for Kyrie and 2019 Cleveland unprotected (which will be the #1 overall)

These are such strange trading partners. Each has hopes of being top in East and each should be suspicious of the other gaining advantage. I guess BOS is looking to win now and CLE is looking to hedge and get some young assets to lure LeBron to stay? But are they sacrificing chances this year? Bizarre!

If they do land the Brooklyn pick, I could easily see it getting moved elsewhere for another significant win-now piece.

Kyrie for IT, Crowder, the Brooklyn pick. Enormous overpay for Kyrie, but I think it's how this goes down.

I think it absolutely makes Cleveland better next season, Boston worse, and Cleveland screwed long term. They're still operating like LeBron is coming back.

Nah this would be the perfect trade for cleavland. They want IT and Taytum but it sounds like Boston wants to do IT/Jae/Zizic + pick. If Cleveland can walk away with Thomas, Jae, Zizic and the Brooklyn pick that's a no brainer for them considering I think Thomas is on the same level as Kyrie.

If Cleveland doesn't get at least one of LA, Brooklyn, or Philly's pick it makes no sense. So Lebron leaves and they are stuck maxing out Isaiah Thomas? Yuck!

If this happens and Boston beats G.S. in the Finals what does that say about Lebron?
