I'm old enough to remember when the Bucks hired a head coach with domestic abuse allegations and also old enough to remember when the future franchise player supported said coach slash animatronic root vegetable.

I also got an imagination and somewhat serviceable short-term memory but I'm built different.imo

I remember when we hired Kidd yet still had coach Drew yet. Then people were like is Kidd gonna be president of basketball operation or a coach and we forget to fire Drew. Seemed cold and bad business at the time.

That’s really ugly Bucks better do their investigative work if they go that route. Giannis must not know about this? I can’t see Giannis supporting this guy with these types of allegations. Bucks need to be 100% certain he is falsely accused/innocent if they pull the trigger. Just hire Nurse and keep it simple.

It was settled out of court as most of these cases are.

I'm saying he should go to jail or anything, but I want absolutely nothing to do with him as the leader of this franchise if there is any chance of him being that kind of person. There are plenty of other qualified coaches without that kind of baggage

Isn’t Gambo not even credible with Suns stuff anymore because his main sources were around Sarver? Why would he know anything on the Bucks?

This kinda seems like him throwing **** against the wall and if he’s right he gets to own that. If we get Nurse nothing comes of it.

Followed Gambo since the MCW trade days. He generally knows his stuff and has good sources.

That said, this could be the PHX FO leaking this to him, to derail Nurse from signing with Milwaukee.

Long shot. But if Nurse is on the fence between MKE and PHO, could he possible choose the Suns to do Griffin a solid by possibly getting the Bucks' gig?

It seems strange if Nurse and Griffin are really competing against each other for the same job.

Would make much more sense if we are pursuing both of them as a package deal. Associate Head Coaches and other loftier titles like that have increasingly become a thing in the league.

If that's the play then really Atkinson is the only other coach being listed as a finalist...which could just be PR if Nurse and the Bucks have had an agreement previously they're waiting to announce.

Looking into it a bit, it looks like his kids also publicly went to bat for him and defended him against the allegations.

Obviously the Bucks need to seriously look into this if he’s being considered for the job, and if they find anything substantial they need to be 100% out, but I wouldn’t completely kill the guy for allegations without knowing the full details.

Said this 10 pages ago. There really isn't much evidence at all that he did anything.

I'm sorry but I'm not just going to believe the Raptors at their word. There are numerous examples of sports teams and corporations covering up for powerful people within their organization. The fact that this was settled out of court at all adds legitimacy to the fact there was some truth to these allegations imo. If it wasn't true it would be logical that he'd want to clear his name rather than just paying her off
