Hell, even Tate can fill spot minutes there.

If they are serious about being good this year, I could definitely see them swapping Eason for Brook. Their entire team averages 5.1 blocks per game collectively. I could see them wanting a big guy for certain playoff matchups. Obviously, they wanted him 2 summers ago.

Eason is a CRAZY good defensive player and is only 23, cheap all of this year and next year. Also scoring 17 pp36 at a little over league average efficiency. I feel like if they throw him on the block they will get multiple offers including ones better than an expiring 36 year old center. Believe me, I'd love to be wrong on this one.

I get all that. Despite that, they're playing him 2 more mpg and he's getting 2 more ppg as he did as a rookie. I get he's a big break out candidate, but he hasn't done so the past two years there, and his path to do so is kind of murky in Houston with the guys ahead of him. I could see them valuing the skills that Brook brings, because they are lacking on their team. Maybe not.

I'd love to be on the right end of a JON situation.

I'd be shocked if we netted Eason for Brook. More likely is Brooks, IMO, which works as a straight swap.

Could be.
FWIW, they are right there in the west with Brooks playing 30+ minutes, and playing well. Not sure they disrupt their starting unit for a back up big.

Houston would be have to be ran by total morons to trade Eason for a 36 year old Brook. But in the last 48 hours Dallas traded Luka Doncic and the Bucks gave up Khris, AJJ, and a pick swap for Kuzma in his worst season. So who the **** knows.

This would maybe fall near the category of young Jonas Valanciunas for old Marc Gasol. Sometimes things work out.

We have to talk about Kyle Kuzma so yeah adding Dillon Brooks to conversation is really kicking us when we're down

We would have to ship a 1st. They aren't trading a good young player than is 23 for Brook and no draft capital.

I keep seeing this, but I'm not so sure.

Only 96 minutes to give to:

Tari Eason
Hell, even Tate can fill spot minutes there.

If they are serious about being good this year, I could definitely see them swapping Eason for Brook. Their entire team averages 5.1 blocks per game collectively. They also have minimal floor spacing. Brook would immediately become one of their best 3 point shooters. I could see them wanting a big guy for certain playoff matchups. Obviously, they wanted him 2 summers ago.

They probably rank Eason 2nd on that list behind AT though. We could get Whitmore or Brooks. Maybe even Smith but they're not gifting us Eason and a replacement center for Brook.

If we trade a big and don't get a big back, our winning anything significant will go from unlikely to impossible.

Bobby for Tonje and access to Tornado Room's late night menu outside of posted times. Make it happen Horst, don't want to get out bid by NOOCH.

Don’t think we will have any more trades, especially not a major one.

We have 37M outgoing plus our 31 1st

Brook + Pat + Dellon + Marjon (37M)

If there is needle mover we can add Portis 12M
that's a total of 49M plus our 31 1st.
(Imo Portis is worth a salary plus a 1st on his own.)

So it is a decent package.... Not sexy enough but it could fetch someone we like

I am rooting for Brandon Ingram

Brook + Pat + Dellon + Marjon + '31 1st (all expiring, except Pat PO)

For

Brandon Ingram (expiring)

I would love getting an expiring back. We can experiment this and if it doesn't work out... Then we get a huge cap relief, dumping Pat's Player Option scenario is crucial for cap relief.

At this point, give me the Cams. We cant be worse defensively than we were with Khris and a lineup of Dame, Cam, Cam, Kuzma and Giannis should score a LOT

What if the plan all along was to get Ryan Dunn in the most complicated, unnecessary way possible
