Looks like 2 initial episodes and now it will be weekly.i liked season 1.

Watched the first 3, good stuff. I've always liked Michael Dorman.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah I didn't get a chance to watch Joe Pickett or FROM yet. Them are my Sunday shows. But ended up watching Black Demon, Bermuda Island, Firenado. Bermuda Island and Firenado are cheesy low budget movies. But I watched them.

Joe Pickett is based on a series of books by C.J. Box. There are 24 of them. I believe season 1 was based on 2 of them and season 2 is based on 2 of them. Originally this was a Spectrum original series. After season 1 aired they sold the rights to Paramount+ and that's where season 2 is (along with season 1). You would definitely want to watch S1 first, some of it carries over.

C.J. Box also wrote the series of books (6 of them) that Big Sky was based on. Big Sky was really good at first but kind of petered out and was recently canceled after season 3. Sometimes the problem with network TV (Big Sky was on ABC) is that they have a lot more episodes and that can make the plots drag out now that we're used to mostly 8-10 episode seasons on cable/streaming. Big Sky had 16, 18 and 13 episodes.

Doesn't look like this show is going to skip a beat. Very excited for this to be back!

Look man, Winning Time is great, but what I really want to see is a serialized fictional version of the $wag Twin$ years. Get Mark Borchardt to direct it, the role of Sam Dalembert can be played by the Jamaican kingpin in "Belly," Kel (of "Kenaan &") fame is Brad Jennings, Hartnett as Ersan, the whole mess casts itself, nahmean. If only I knew an award-winning screenwriter with an affinity for this cursed lot to make it sing.

Alas.

I'm done watching that show. I thought they maybe had something early in the 1st season with some good ideas but the episodes never payed off. I figured they might improve, but it feels they have no idea what they are doing or where the show is going. It's rarely funny anymore, the characters are mostly unlikeable, especially Dave, and I'm not sure what the show is even trying to do. That green screen scene at the end with Drake was embarrassing. I can't believe they did they and thought that looked good and went with it.

I feel like he is trying to be like Larry David. I don't watch Curb but love Seinfeld. With Seinfeld, they can be jerks, but they never annoy me or I don't dislike the characters (I know some people hated George or whoever on the show). I just can't stand Dave as a person, and I'm not a lil dicky fan. He just seems so arrogant and pretentious. He makes satire/joke rap but somehow thinks he is doing amazing that people just don't get. End of rambling. I guess, I've just come to really dislike the show.

I admittedly don't expect much from it, so I'm fine with it. Dave is supposed to be unlikable. The Africa green screen elephant CGI stuff was beyond terrible, agree with that.

Don't drag Seinfeld into this! Dave is a casual watch. I like Santino and Gata, I guess the Brad Pitt and Don Cheadle cameos elevated a mundane story. They really spend their budget on those celebs. Seinfeld is the GOAT and is built on them being despicable, much like Sunny.

You are right. I guess I felt like 1st season they were so close to some great moments or episodes but they never hit the landing right. Kinda like the episode this season with the gala and his outfit. Im sure him going through with that would be impossible to film, but its just a tease. I never got into IASIP for some reason, but them being unlikable works for me where Dave doesn't.

Season 1 was incredible, season 2 was pretty blah except I enjoyed the finale. Going to start season 3 this week while on leave. Glad to hear it’s been good.

Enjoy season 2 because that's the end unfortunately. HBO pulled the plug.

WTF. So dumb.

If you like Matthew Rhys and haven't seen The Americans it's worth a watch. Hulu .

I'm disappointed but not surprised. Perry Mason is one of those shows that gains a larger audience as it seasons. If it's too expensive and doesn't bring in enough eyeballs quickly it's gonna get axed. Especially with the change to 'Max'.

I do love Matthew Rhys. He was great in The Americans.
