At $18.8M though. So it have to be any two of Bobby,Allen,PatC. Then he isn't worth it. I rather have a Rozier or any of the Bogdanovic's or the $20M dollars list of players.

I mean the trade is Quickley and him.

Fournier clearly is just salary filler here.

Only salary filler. But in the tax and possibly second apron. No need for dead weight fillers. Bad enough if we give Brook $17M to $20M per and gets injured or falls off. Or Middleton getting older and slower. Gonna have enough money tied down with our run it back of our core 4. Not including what we pay to keep Crowder and possibly Ingles.

You're doing it in order to get a hold of Quickly. WE have no picks/youth that NY would want. So what we can offer is eating that money for them. It's all about Quickly, not fournier.

If we're also getting IQ at 4.1m its easier to swallow Fournier at 18m because he has a TO we can decline next year.

In theory that makes sense, but in the second apron world, how are we the team that can afford to do that kind of trade?

I guess it depends on who or what we would need to sacrifice to make that work

Everyone keeps talking about this Knicks trade the last three pages. Is this still just discussion because IQ was in Greece? Or did someone report some conversations?

It's my fault for talking about Quickley all year.

There have been so many emotional hot takes and replies. We usually don't get that level of interest for a board generated TI.

Fischer is reporting on his pod that Lopez is Houston's FA priority number 2 behind Fred.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

We have an assistant coach, players, and a GM still here from Woods time here, so they know his personality, if anyone had questions about it.

I look forward to him putting up some 20/20 while being a net 'meh' while half this board will want him to play more while the other half would want to cut him.

Would really put AGs leadership skills to the test.
(I personally think it is a horrible idea but maybe being a 8 year vet would start making up for his lack of BBIQ like you saw with McGee and Dwight later in their careers.

Net "meh"? Weird thing to expect from a player who's had seasons where his team was 8 points/100 and 14 points/100 better with him on the floor. It's weird how a guy can get typecast without fans even bothering to educate themselves.

If Houston offers BroLo a FVV style 2 year deal…how high do they go?

For vet minimum sure. I doubt he takes it.

Obviously Wood didn't alienate himself too much here if he's at the top of our list. We have players, coaches, and front office personal that were all here for his 1st stint.

If Giannis is cool with him, then so am I.

A 3 way deal with Bobby out and Quickley in has to be a possibility, right?

I mean I’m not here claiming the IQ talk isn’t mostly informed speculation (if not wishful thinking) but he was tied to the Bucks in January by Michael Scotto:

Another Knicks player whose name has circulated in the rumor mill this season is Immanuel Quickley. Several teams, including the Bucks, Mavericks, Wizards, and others, have expressed interest in Quickley, league sources told HoopsHype.

However, New York’s previously reported asking price of a first-round pick and Quickley’s improved play amid the loss of RJ Barrett may make it tough for a trade to come to fruition. Prior to facing the Bucks on Monday night, Quickley was averaging 19.1 points on 47.1 percent shooting and 4.4 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in his last 11 games.

How would you explain why it is that every team that he has ever been on was not sad to see him leave?

They already have Senguin. Are they going to put him on the bench for 2 years while Brook plays? Senguin is also slow footed so they’re not playable together.

It's hard to argue that Christian Wood wouldn't be an impact player on teams where his backups are Thon Maker and DJ Wilson.
