Gallo just makes too much sense. He's still a smart veteran dude that knows how to use his size on defense, so not too worried about throwing him out there in quick spurts at the 5. Per minute still an incredibly productive dude on offense, and also already played under Doc previously.

On the A Cresta Alta Podcast, Gallinari shared that he’s looking forward to the games on the schedule where he’ll be playing the Celtics in Boston.
“I’m loaded up, can’t wait to play against Boston. As soon as the schedule comes out, I’ll put an X on every time I play Boston in Boston.”

Not on the Danilo bandwagon due to defense but this quote has me in his corner if he comes here.

Agree. This maybe increases our odds of landing him.

Has anyone actually crunched the numbers on if it's possible to sign a buyout guy while still coming in below the 2nd apron? I guess you could certainly argue that at this point it's better to just leave that spot open and have trade flexibility in the offseason vs. filling it with some dude that has a miniscule chance of giving you rotation minutes.

Eh, knowing Disney, they'd probably claim you came up with the idea on their dime and try to take it from you.

Still no rumors for Gallo coming to us? He must want a little mid-season vacation. He should know the plays already since he played for Doc like Pat Bev.

Thad Young heading elsewhere. I would take Gallinari for regular season depth/insurance but wouldn't be surprised if he heads elsewhere.

Rumors say Boston and LA are showing interest. :-?

If Doc thinks he'd fit someone better get on the phone with him

And yeah, way to drop the ball on that one.

I think the prorated salary would have to be under $1.1 million if they have $1.1 mil in space to the second apron. If we're using $3.2 mil as the min salary (10+ year at this number so could be lower with younger vet), we're right in the cusp of that $1.1 million. I think we're at like $1.14 mil we'd have on the salary cap for a 10+ year vet as of today. This may be all wrong too :D

Yep you're right. It would be only $2.019 mil against the cap (2 YOS) so the Bucks definitely can pick someone up if that is prorated. I'm not sure if cap hits are prorated like the actual salary is.

Friend just got off a flight to Atlanta and sat next to Stotts. Said his carryon still has a Milwaukee Bucks bag tag with his name on it. :reporter:

should have recruited him... I think our main problem is not having enough assistant coaches... who is going to go pick up the donuts while Bev is coaching?

According to a Reddit thread about the Lakers, the cap hit is prorated and by days left in the season. 174 total days.
