Not sure if you're aware but Giannis was busy this offseason.

Chances of having the Syracuse Nationals referenced in a postgame thread have increased exponentially.

Uhhhh, I have no idea when Rondo hung it up. Never wanted him on the team, tbh.

Yep, Rondo will be in his ear about being aggressive as a bonus to whatever PG stuff he's getting.

Good to see Giannis talking up the vet additions too.

Of course last year this time the hype was MarJon dominating 1x1. But still.

Just remember that Giannis has loved everybody he's ever played with.

There simply isn't fast guys that have bigger impacts on lineups than Middleton. Being fast doesn't automatically make a player a good defender. Every statistical model supports the very simple idea that Middleton makes players miss. Plus, he's one the few rebounders on our team.

I appreciate the idea of building a better defense, but that will only happen by replacing the bad defenders, not the good ones.

Wait.. so do you really believe that KM can play defense better than the 3 FAs we brought in? Quickness isn't the end all but yes it plays a factor ... imagine playing 1v1 vs someone much slower that moves like he's 10 years older than he is.. what would you do? Just get him leaning the wrong way and you're gone or side step and free jumper, right?

If it's that easy, why doesn't someone do that against him? This isn't about what anyone thinks, you're arguing against substantial statistical data.

Wright is a seriously player. Prince is useless, every team he plays on is worse with him on the floor. A big part of that is because he's too soft to participate in rebounding. Funny how you call Prince an athlete but he can't rebound half as well as Middleton.

Rebounding numbers for wings can be misleading. Fast break teams would send them as runners instead of have them hang around waiting for the ball -- even Doc just said that about our team. When judging a wing's rebounding ability, that should be considered. Whoever boxes out better and hustles more should be considered the better rebounder. As for KM on D, if you hit the pause on your DVR rarely is KM near any opposing player..just lost and pointing.. again, some can be attributed to health, inconsistent reps and coaching change but saying he's good on D isn't reality or evidence based.

it's like the make a player gave him 99 on dunking a 0 on scouting. he would probably say (and believe) Thanasty is coming in April to be a rotational player.

Does FanDuel have odds on whether Rondo is still on the staff at the trade deadline?

He’s gonna tick off all of them by demanding excellence on D and ball movement.

We have loads of talent but it will be another sh#t show quickly and another mid-season coaching change if someone doesn't step up as a leader and help our IQ. We are probably top 2 in the league in coach killers - second only to the Lakers

He also said he liked bright lights like Hollywood, before ad-libbing Bollywood. And he threw Doc under the bus with a half-hearted "best coach ever".

Boy's a Laker. :sky is falling emoji: He hate it in the deer district.
