Houston or who do we think is giving that up for Booker?

Idk who is paying an arm and a leg for Durant.

Doesn’t seem like he’d be excited to extend in Minnesota or Memphis either fwiw.

3 firsts and a young good player is a massive overpay for a 36.5 year old Durant.

Ha wow I didn’t even realize the Suns were floating that much for old man disgruntled KD.

Sources informed The Arizona Republic that Durant’s camp was upset Phoenix put him in trade talks before the 2025 deadline last month as he rejected a move back to Golden State where he won back-to-back NBA titles and finals MVPs.

However, between the Suns having already looked to move Durant, him publicly saying he understood it and his camp taking issue with those talks, it’s hard to see him staying in Phoenix beyond this season.

Sources informed The Republic the most ideal return on a Durant trade is regaining three first-round picks and a young player as part of a multi-team deal tied to getting under the second apron.

Wizards are going to have to shut down Midds before he **** up their tank. 13 wins on the season but 3-4 when Midds plays.

Thunder/Celtics - great.
Doris doing the game - not great
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Mark Jones is one of my least favourite pbp guys too. Has the worst catch phrases in the biz.

No salt intended, but watching the Celtics bomb 50 3s a game and only make 33% of them just makes for some terrible basketball. Probably will win another championship, but just such a bellwether of how terrible watching the typical NBA game has become.

Agreed. Watching most games be a 3 point chuck contest sucks. And any time someone says that the retort is "it's better than games in the 80's!" That's not the point. Saying games used to be worse (debatable) doesn't mean today's games are fun. Most are not.

63 from 3 for the Celtics, 37 for OKC

I only watched the last 8 min or so but they passed out of like 3 good looks at the rim for a mildly open 3. Jrue, especially, had an egregious one during okc’s run. That stuff is horrible to watch.

The Locked on Suns guys devoted a pod to Kevin Durant trade scenarios. It was a good listen because I think in 45-60 days this board will be doing the same thing with Dame. And some of the same teams will be involved like the Rockets or Wolves.

https://lockedonpodcasts.com/podcasts/locked-on-suns/

The main host was pretty realistic in admitting the Suns overpaid for Durant and weren't going to recover what they paid. The sidekick was in denial and felt the Suns would still get a haul for KD.

They seemed to settle in on Durant for FVV (salary match) and getting back two of Phoenix's picks that Houston controls plus Jabari Smith. That seemed like a very good deal for Phoenix, but every has their own opinion on KD.

Bonus: At the end they debate the Grayson Allen contract.

Re-read what you just wrote and ask yourself why you listen to Locked On.

PJ Tucker must have been in Bridges ear trying to get minutes.

Boston might be on the precipice of the downward slope. While they have Tatum and Brown locked through their primes, Jrue and Horford are looking their age more and more. KP can’t seem to stay healthy (shocker).

Still obv a genuine title contender and prob still the favourite in the East but they look a lot more mortal this year.

Boston better pray they luck out and avoid literally every contender that could beat them in a 7-game series just like last playoffs, cuz I count at least 3-4 (OKC, Denver, Cleveland, Golden State).
