No chance Smart goes #1.

You never know how players may turn out, but if I was a GM, I don't see how I could ever pass up on Embiid. He's basically a lock in my #1, barring significant improvements by Wiggins or Parker over the back half of the year.

If everyone comes out, Smart's best case is #4 IMO. He will fight with Gordon, Exum, and Randle for that spot, most likely.

I'll be very surprised if Embiid, Wiggins, Parker aren't top 3 in some order.

But I think out of all the guys that are talked about in the top 5, he looks like the most natural leader to me.

He's the exact same player as last year, hasn't improved any aspect of his game.

I'll agree that it will be embiid, Parker, wiggins as the top three in no particular order. I'm just terrified of wiggins. Not once has he shown me he's a franchise changer. He honestly can't even bring the ball up the court from an out of bounds position. His dribble is horrible.

Wiggins is not impressing me very much. I've watched about 5 of his games in entirety and have come away several times more impressed with one of his other teammates (Embiid/Selden).

He has to turn his game up. Parker has the edge because of his killer instincts. He oozes it out there. Wiggins is kind of passive and aloof at times and doesn't seem to want to take the game over.

The tournament will be key for Parker, Wiggins, and Embiid.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

Except for that not being true at all. His 2 point FG% has jumped from 46.7% last season to 58.1% this season. That's a huge jump for a player that makes his living in the lane. Much much better finisher this season.

Fine let me rephrase. He hasn't improved in the most important areas that he needed work in. His handle, jumpshot, passing, decision making, and shot selection haven't really gotten better.

Smart has three issues when trying to project him as a true stud. Three point shooting, position, and good but not elite athleticism. I like him and definitely don't think he busts, but I'm not using a top 4 pick on him in this draft, assuming everyone declares.

My fear with wiggins and drafting him is that on more than 1 occasion he has expressed great dedesire to play for his home team of toronto.I would hate for the bucks to draft this kid only to c him bolt to Toronto in 4 years. At least parker is somewhat local being from chicago.

I don't think he's near the athlete Rose is, otherwise there are some similarities.

Weirder things have happened. See, Anthony Bennett.

(ok, Smart going #1 would be weirder, but you get the point)

1 - Wiggins
2 - Embiid
3 - Parker
4 - Exum

I admit, I'm secretly [well, not so secretly since it's a message board] hoping that the Bucks end up with Exum.

This has me scared about Wiggins for sure.

Parker possibly doing a two year mission has me scared about him. I have a feeling he is going to use that threat to make sure he ends up in Utah or wherever else he would be ok ending up.

So right now I am at Embiid, Exum, Wiggins, Parker and 2-4 will get changed repeatedly depending on play and feedback from players and agents come draft time. Randle and Smart might just move up due to uncertainties with Wiggins and Parker. The more this year goes on, the more I feel like this class is being over hyped which makes me sad. These kids will still be good but The whole idea that 6-8 of them will be multiple time all stars sounds like some bs.

I think he'd be the best fit.

Exum/Knight/Giannis/Ilyasova/Sanders with a bench of Wolters/Mayo/Middleton/Henson/Pachulia would be interesting.

I'm not so sure Exum and Giannis fit together.

Both seem to be at their best when they are bringing the ball up the court and creating. They are both bigs that handle the ball exceptionally well and neither seem like alpha scorers (at least right now).

We need a shooter/scorer to pair with Giannis. Parker would be ideal.

After Wiggins, I think Exum would be a great fit. Try to get Selden or another shooting guard and I like it quite a bit.

I think Selden stays in school. He would for sure be a top 3 pick next year if teams need a SG - The only other SG that would possibly go ahead of him is Mudiay
