The key to all of this is the internet paired with a chromecast.

Trading and collecting accounts and passwords is optional.

I think for the moment we're still screwed. League Pass always checks where your IP address is coming from and blacks you out if in the Bucks/Wisconsin viewing radius.

I know there are workarounds to the IP thing but I haven't found them worth the time and issues involved at this point.

I haven't had any issues going this route. I hide my IP address, run League Pass on my iPad, and then throw it up on the TV through AppleTV. Pretty easy and cost effective. It takes me 2 minutes to get the game up and all of $5/month to hide my IP.

Never heard of that. The $29.99 package looks pretty good. It's $10 more than Sling's basic package, but there's probably $10 worth of additional channels for me to consider. Do you need a PS4 to use it? I am not a gamer, but still have a PS3 laying around somewhere.

No you dont need a Playstation, a guy that I work with is running it on dumb TVs with an amazon fire stick. He had sling and says that the vue comes thru much clearer, can be run on up to 5 devices and has dvr. My uverse is up at the end of the month and i am thinking of making the switch. He said that they are trying to add FSWI and BTN right now and that would pretty much seal the deal for me.

I'm seriously considering cutting the cord, but I still want to be able to watch Bucks games.

Between Hulu Plus and Netflix, I have no use for cable, but I can't find a suitable way to watch the Bucks. Ballstreams is gone and I've tried league pass online and it was just the worst experience (Thankfully it was during the Larry Drew season).

If anybody has any solutions, I'd gladly hear them. As of right now, it looks like my best bet is to just continue having cable even though I only use it for live sporting events. Sigh...

Lately I've been using Fox Sports Go to watch the Bucks and Brewers. It's such a dumb, simple thing I'm annoyed I haven't been using it sooner. It requires to you know someone with cable TV, but that wasn't hard.

Vue updates on this thread would be very much appreciated. FSWI and BTN are the only sports channels I need and the only reason I still have cable.

Can you only stream through handheld apple and android products?

This is my only complaint about not having cable. I usually just go to the gym to watch the games and I just walk on the treadmill for two hours and lift during breaks. It's productive and I actually focus on the game better. Otherwise, going to a dive bar drinking 3 dollar millers isn't the worst plan if you want to be social on a Friday night.

You can watch online here.

I have a laptop with an HDMI out. Most nights I watch the game on TV and browse the web on the laptop screen.

It's much easier to pair it with a chromecast. 35 "Bucks" and you're set. Open up a fox sports go on your browser, use the cast extension, and you're ready to rock without having to mess around with any cables. HDMI Cables are like 2013 man.

Good call. I have a chromecast and never use it.

With that same password you use for foxsportsgo, you likely have access to FX, AMC, and if whichever cable account you're using has HBO, Shotime, Starz whatever, you have everything at your finger tips. I use chromecast for everything. Netflix, Hulu, yadda yadda yadda. I feel the same way about Chromecast as Magic Giannison does about Giannis only less gay.

I have a couple Apple TVs, so I got used to relying on that. I'll have to get that Chromecast set up when I get home.

If you download movies and such and do the HDMI thing from your laptop, or stream anything off of your laptop not available on appleTV, These will be your new best friends.

Can Apple TV cast a tab through a browser or anything like that? I'm not an Apple guy so I don't know for sure. From my experience using it, it was more or less limited to available apps. FoxSportsGo doesn't support a lot of media players (moreso tablet, laptop, and phone viewing), which is why I prefer chromecast if a streaming service isn't available on that respective player be it Roku, AppleTV, or directly through Chromecast. The ability to stream something on a laptop (legally or not, wink and stuff) and throw the tab on your TV gives you a lot more flexibility.
