I was wondering if anyone had the details on these few things, like with certainty.

Does Leuer need to be cut/stretched to make our current signings possible?

Will we end up getting the TPE from the Brogdon trade? And if so how much is it.

All I'm gonna say is that the salaries would work for Westbrook if we did Bled, Ersan, Pacers 1st and that trade exception

All I'm going to say is that a trade exception can't be used like that in a trade.

we can't combine the trade exception with a player contract. we can only combine it with picks unfortunately.

Westbrook would be an awful fit with Giannis. Like comically bad. Like worst fit in the League bad. Even getting Westbrook for Free would likely make the team worse. I'd take Rubio before Westbrook and I would want nothing to do with Rubio.

Gallinari on the other hand would be an incredible fit

The TPE is supposed to be half of his first year salary which breaks down to 9.8M, but i don't know if we get it.

Leur definitely needs to be stretched or dumped via trade to get us under the cap with all our moves...

We just won 60 games with essentially a Westbrook-lite as our point guard.

We need to waive or stretch Leuer (or dump him or Ersan) but I'm 95% sure that we do get the TPE.

Ersan, Leuer and all three picks from Brogdon

for

Gallinari

That would give us a real nice team that would work well together.

Bled/Hill
Middleton
Gallinari/Wes
Giannis
Lopez/Lopez

Don't know if it will be gallinari and i don't know when but another piece is coming, we have to go for it!

Westbrook is an extreme talent and an extreme ass plus doesn't seem to translate his outstanding talents into wins. Locker room and chemistry concerns galore for a team who's defined IMO by its strong character players. Bucks look to win with Chemistry and team play.

I am not interested in Westbrook despite his vast talents. Kind of the same story with Kyrie. Probably not worth the risk.

Replacing Bledsoe for Westbrook would be a downgrade. Bledsoe is the superior 3 point shooter, shooting 33% and 35% from 3 the last 2 years. Bledsoe is the far superior defender. Bledsoe has the far lower usage rate. Taking possessions away from Giannis to give to Westbrook would be a disaster.

Oh, and Westbrook is also far, far more expensive and declining faster.

Westbrook isn't a locker room problem imo. His problems are on court decision making, declining athleticism, and that awful contract (which is why I wouldn't trade for him at all). But by most accounts dude is a really good teammate.

Russ and Giannis would dominant the EC. I'd do whatever possible to make that happen immediately or ASAP.

Imagine the malcontent Russ coming in and trying to play off Giannis and accept the #2 role. He's a mental midget and it would be an epic fail

Westbrook is a pretty garbage defender and somehow an even worse shooter than Bledsoe. And that's not even getting into how bad that contract is looking......so nah.

Imagine thinking Westbrook would help the Bucks win more than Bledsoe. Even if their contracts were the same (they aren't even close), the only benefit Westbrook provides would be to have a creator for when Giannis sits. Who pays Max money for a player whose only value is for the 15 mins when Gisnnis sits. With Giannis, Bledsoe is clearly better than Westbrook
